Sands of Time

the wind blows golden pellets of heat carving out a figure
spotted gaurdians pace as the sculpted body transforms
once dry granuals of earth morphed into soft mirages of beauty
a trick perhaps to the untrained eye look deeper still ..magic

she stretches her golden liquid body across the dune
testing the boundries of this new found transformation
an uncontrollable desire to reach across the plains
to touch all that can be seen to be touched by all that see's

a keeper of the sands of time now wanting to be kept
the silloutte of a child steeling a glance, deciefering reality
feeling the warmth of the desert wondering what tricks it plays
the dunes holding her beautiful form as the cheetahs pant

even the meerkat struggles with this vision
this goddess of sand and time naked before them
the steele wisdom of the great cats glance confirms
the open mind trancends, opening a new chapter

to believe what is seen to see what is believed
reaching out to feel what is or is not there
the child races to her side wanting to be held
looking down his hands fill with the sands of time

The Void

A broken heart floats on a crimson sea, taken out to a red abyss.
its bleeding
A vacant place, a void with in,  a longing that cant Be met
it's needing
arms are heavy almost numb, wanting to,yearning to
be reaching
the Eyre of the bone not fulfilling ,the empty space growing,
its leaching
hands no longer holding dying to be touching, dying
to be touched
not finding, not feeling, not knowing yet the desire
is to much

the mind is empty as it wanders, trys to ponder, the meaning
the reason for it all
as it spins through a celestial black pool, cascading into no where
destined for a fall
a space that once was full, once was joyful once excited to
greet the day
a life of promise, of hope and learning now lays stagnant
soaking in decay

A Day With Out Her

a day with out her touch is maddening
a night with out her warmth  is saddening
mind is racing, body pacing, longing to be..
heart is pounding, visions surrounding ,needing to see

a yearning, a desire burning, longing to touch
an aching, soul almost breaking, missing so much
her scent, her sound torment a need to be near
a beautiful face , eyes that trace,  love is clear

wrapped in arms, safe from harm, where i belong
she moves with grace to a frantic pace her words like song
singing me softly, body floating lofty needing to be
caressing skin, looking with in as transgressions flee

a day with out her touch is maddening
a night with out her warmth  is saddening
mind is racing, body pacing, longing to be..
heart is pounding, visions surrounding ,needing to see

Falling

The blueish gray haze swirled thru out the mind
dizzying confusion, lapse of reason, lost and blind
body paralyzed, frozen like McKinley's heights
heart beats heavy soul stricken with benights

trails of tears red with pain follow decisions
choices made causing irreparable divisions
falling off destiny's trail fingers slip their grasp
darkness shrouds the eyes with one final gasp

uncontrollable sinking as sands of time swallow
internal screaming for salvation from Phoebus Apollo
deft ears hear not ,no notes lifting to reverence
only the looming doom of  impending severance

An Angel's Tears

An Angel's Tears

An angel's tears fall down to the earth
as she looks upon the pain and lack of mirth

the homeless child on a street corner stands
as rich folks pass believing that its out of their hands

a mother scourers the alleys and trash
thinking of her hungry child and just one lucky stash

as the tears fell down like rain from a storm
this angels thoughts of god are torn

can she cry enough to cleanse this place
the hate, the crime, the dirt from a baby's face

an angel crys from the heavens above
hoping one day we all find gods love

A River

A river runs gently caressing the sands, reaching out to touch the shore
her moods changing with every bend and turn, leaving you wanting more
as the wind blown tree's whisper their serenade to the purple sky
a dream of her dancing to the natural song occupies your inner eye

an innocent touch sends the heart screaming like the hawk that's free to glide
the sounds of the river cause butterflies to flutter from deep inside
beautiful rocks caressed and transformed with her soothing touch
the sweet smell ,the bubbling words sometimes seem to much

a journey of passion winding through the forest  to a never ending abyss
a rivers voice, a rivers touch, a rivers scent is what i miss
the soft nurturing flow of the river,  if only i were the sands and shore
id be fulfilled i would want no more

Did I

Did I

Did i reach out to someone calling or did my ears close my eyes
did my hand reach out to some one falling or did my strength
steer me aside

did i feed a child that's starving or instead just feed whats mine
have i stopped a fight from starting or did i cheer it on inside

have i found myself in praying or cursed a god not near
did i save you from a bully ranting or did i cry out my own jeer

have i looked to deep and asked to hard or did you see your heart
did you thwart these question's as they came or did we make a start

Incarnate

INCARNATE

It is sad but true we live to die , but i believe that's when we fly
is it to the heaven's we go?or do we take natures hand and continue to grow?

its not in the ground that we shall stay, this is the time we truly play
we will be heard in the wind caressing the leaves, in the buzzing of the foraging bees

our voices will be loud in the waterfalls and louder still as the eagle calls
with every flower that reaches towards the sun,our faces will be seen having fun

with every doe that grazes in the field, our spirits will reign and never yield
with every drop that falls from the Sky, with every tear that streams from an eye

the sun will warm a face with our love, our voices heard thru the sweet , sweet dove
the moon will light a path for a friend ,reminding them that our life will not end

so when a loved one passes and you need to be near, step outside I'm sure you will hear
the way they spoke and the laughter in their voice its a beautiful thing its natures choice

A Day Dream

rain drops rhythmic sound
cleansing all as it hits ground
mother earth thankfully smiles

birds singing loudly
sun breaks through the grey lined clouds
flowers blooming reach up high

eyes open slowly
snowflakes bitter bite wakes me
soon ..soon it will lose its grasp
