Black Beauty

Black like a rare diamond.
Perfectly sculpted.
White as a snowy peek .
Reflecting off the glistening waves.
Your beauty and grace challenge us.
Mostly free, we morn for your captured brothers.
Gliding and leaping through the blue.
Chasing your soul mates protecting your tribe.
Your song is herd for miles deep.
Echoing on the icebergs.
You are magnificent, alluring.
Teasing us with your glance.
Swim far Orca be free

Acceptance

Sleepless nights, congested mind
Emotions fast, unsettled and lost
Clammy hands, hard heart beat.
Loneliness and silence, I am alone.
Losing control, who am I?

Strong mind, quietly resilient
Remembering and reminding
This is me.
Flaws are bare, I am proud.
Clammy hands, hard heart beat.
Empowering and controlling.
I win.

Tired and beaten down.
Body slow and weak.
Rest for now until tomorrow.
Then I will fight once more.
Fight for normality, for calm, for peace.
