Reverie

Yeshh! I was there,
I was there when I woke up,
Where the birds were singing,
Provoking strokes of enthusiasm,
Where there was mist,
Till the ways bent in the undergrowth.

Yeshh! I was there,
I was there where the trees,
Were profoundly filled with inumerable
Shades of prettiest green,
Where the smell of that wet sand,
Just drifted me away.

And yeshh! I was there,
I was there... With you,
You were divine, charming and courteous,
And one can't take her eyes off you,
And just in that very moment,
I loved you.

It was my sweetest rendezvous, a dream,
Where for the first time... I met you
Can this be more perfect?

Journey

Who doesn't face upheavels in life?
Survive those, who're operative of the glory,
Succumb those, who get exultant,
Thou shall be eleemosynary when life gives you perks.

Who doesn't face downfalls in life?
Don't hide it, you don't gonna deny it,
Just drink your pain away, a little at a time,
Fight! Gain the strength again to get up on your knees.

Who doesn't face love in life?
Gives you something to lose, and even I do,
But honey, love can knock again, life wouldn't,
It isn't the end of the world, 'amate a ti mismo'

Who doesn't face fear in life?
Face it luv, as cowards die many times
Before their death, the valiant face it only once
And so they live forever, even in the afterlife.

These are just ephimeral glimpse of emotions,
It can't despirit you! You're a conqueror!
It's the life's journey, our naive heart is yet to lead,
It was just a page, the eerie book is yet to read.

Stranger

A year back from now, I met a stranger right here,
He was strange, as the strangers are, or even more stranger,
There was something strange in him indeed, that mojo, I've never felt before,
He was calm and composed, ruled by naivety.

His thoughts having some preeminent beauty,
His ardouric eyes, filled with seclusion, making me dive deep into,
His that angelic smile, that had me all at once,
And such serenity! For when he sang, even the birds stopped to listen.

He wasn't a dreamboy, but made with such perfection,
So perfect, that even in a room full of art, I'd still stare at him,
I didn't know him, but he knew me all,
He never made an effort, I was drowning in since the moment we met.

Now, after all this time...
He's yet a stranger, but not strange anymore,
Just a thought of him billows in me a whole stream of emotions,
Though something inside me, knows there's nothing guaranteed, but
If I could have anyone in the world, it'd be that stranger, forever.

Good things take time, and all I wish for now is.... Forget me never, stranger.?
