If

If
Promising
Damning
Cleansing
Demeaning
100 possibilities
Some have past
Some remain

If
Some waste away over it
Some constantly pursue it
It's just a game of chance
Life is the lottery
And if is the raffle
If you're ready to play the game
Plug in, baby, it's a wild ride

If
If only I were better
If only I had done this
If only I had done that
If only it were 10 years ago
If only it were a nice day
If only they were still alive
If, if, if, if, if

If
It has no power
Unless you give it
Think not in if
Think in what is
Think in what will be
And you will be free
If only you let go

Peace and Love, Homie

Hey, we're going to the station
But I gotta warn you this is no vacation
We're out here to find peace of mind
A piece of time to rewind and remind
Reality is heavy but we're strong
We'll stand against the wrong
At the forum we'll post a bill of every lie
And hold them there until we ask why
Everything is corroding at the foundation
When we're the wealthiest nation
But there is a history of misery
And it's not a mystery given their trickery
While the rich steadily get richer
I may not have aim but I'll play the pitcher
Throwing curve balls and facts
Fending off mass media attacks
Your legacy is dead soldiers on foreign land
For oil buried deep in the sand
Our economy is made of paper
And as that paper burns I see the caper
But all the money in the world is fool's gold
Compared to empathy and compassion if you behold
A better world of united people bettering each other
Holding hands with our sisters and brothers
There's still time for you to do the right thing
And perhaps that is when we can all sing
Homie, it's all about peace and love
It's all about peace and love

Gentle rising sun

Radiate peace in Summer

Splashed across green leaves

Dance In the Chaos

The world is on fire because of propaganda and liars
The world may not be flat but we're close to the edge
Just a little, just a little, just a silly little push
But there's just one thing I have to know

Do you want to dance in the chaos?

Look in my eyes I'm a little crazy
But you'd never call me lazy
We're all going to die anyway
So what's a little...chaos between friends
But there's just one thing I have to know

Do you want to dance in the chaos?

World economies in danger of tanking
While criminals operate in banking
And not a single solitary soul is thinking
That it all might be sinking

So, honestly, there's just one thing I have to know
Do you want to dance in the chaos?

Jump out of the window and discover
The world is our trampoline
Just a bunch of fools bouncing
Bumping into each other

The media tells lies and uses social media
Just to spread propaganda
CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News
They've made fools of you

So, at this point, I just need to know one thing
...Do you really want to dance in the chaos?

Shut Down

Silencing inside
Reverberating spirits
Summer is subdued

Breathtaking

Kings have conspired
Enthralling enchantments
Across the world
Now we dance
Unified at last

Remember the old songs
Every long evening
Escaped into the wild
Voracious we surely were
Excited by the world beyond
Shadows danced by fire's light

Irresistible starlight
Shepherded us into the night

Beyond the known world
Really it was so very beautiful
Eerie though was the silence
As though holding a deep secret
That made us yearn for more
Here in this glorious new world
That we did enjoy song and dance
Anomalies in the matrix
Kings in our minds
Indubitably this was our salvation
Now we rest for sunlight
Goodnight sweet prince

Tap Water On Viola Strings

Behold a world from green to gold
It's bold to assume It was foretold
Little sprinkles in my coffee mug
Maybe I'm a little smug but I'm snug
Autumn's lullaby wraps me in a hug
Viola strings on the floor
Covered in tap water gore
Nature's sweat one might fret
Patchwork quits frayed I know guilt
Another day with my cloud brother
Floating lazily and lopsidedly crazily
Predawn fog has my mind acting hazily
From the window I behold
A world from green to gold
And my heart sings
Of tap water on viola strings

Disco Dancing Dandelion

I'm a disco dancing dandelion
Come find me in fields spinning freely
Not a cloud raining on my thoughts
Just peppermint pumpkin smiles
Crunching golden leaves underfoot
But I focus on the butterflies flying
Sighing and smiling whiling away today
And maybe everything that glitters
Is truly golden in the fall
Right into a pile of brown and gold
Laughter and love unfold and if I'm feeling bold
I'm a disco dancing dandelion
Watch my petals swirl freely in the air
Not a care I just had to share on a day so fair
And some may simply stare but perhaps wistfully
Because I know a freedom they may never know
Time is short so I can't move slow
My heart is majestic and I feel the glow
I know not what waits for me tomorrow
But I have no time for sorrow
Because today I'm a disco dancing dandelion
A disco dancing dandelion

Baritone Romance

Dressed in white
Was it really right
Glistening sunset
Where lips met

Wine glass sorrow
A gift is tomorrow
Lowered your eyes
Hiding lies

It was not fate
For love to wait
But it was fate
She would be late

Confetti falling
Broken voices stalling
Shattered stairs
Sudden glares

Highest of high
The lowest sigh
White to red
All were dead

Dressed in white
It wasn't right
Dead in war
...But what for

Bloodlust

The moon looms like a half-lidded eye Casting silver light on an otherwise dark night I embrace the kiss of the stars As my skin gives off an ethereal glow Into the urban jungle I go For I am like a lion on the prowl Test me and you might get a playful growl But I'd prefer to go with the flow A masquerade ball in a luxurious mansion I put on my golden mask and cover my eyes With a winning smirk upon my face And how I simply adore the shocked looks We're all here in masks But the scent of blood tickles my nose Aware of the eyes following me The eyes of a wide-eyed doe Her mask is a moon and sun In the act of kissing each other In a dazzling red dress Inviting masculine contemplation When the music begins I take her hand And we begin to dance In the presence of a predator She dares not look away I can feel every time her heart skips a beat For in her exultation she has two left feet But in her cheeks I see a growing heat As inhibition faces defeat We slip away from the crowd Up three flights of stairs On the very top floor a private balcony Bewitched by the moon and stars There our passion blossoms with a kiss And our hands become wanderers In pursuit of places that delight the imagination Earning delighted gasps and moans Overcome with need I ask to feed And despite herself she bares her neck And an agonized cry becomes a moan of pleasure As fangs plunge into her soft flesh Blood flows past my fangs Sating the need of my burning throat A deep groan of pleasure Fills the night As blood lust fades into natural lust Beneath the moon and stars we become one Lost to the throes of pleasure and passion Neither of us want the night to end
