Time Flux

For the day when thee head hits pillow
In that last breath of might
In that starry time of night
Where one travels to another world
Almost as lucid as ours
And envisions malice and might

Perched upon a hill
Awoken adjacent to a mighty spire
Gleaming of silver, selenium, and solitude
Upon day it stood still
Casting shade guided by time
But as twilight faded to night
It shone beams of miraculous light

Perched upon a hill
A picturesque scene
The Autumn breeze blew tales of wonder
Down the fields of green that grew yonder
carrying the scent of the azaleas and sweet grass that bloomed below

¬¬¬A glimpse at such a sight
A pleasure by day- Gift by night.
What a sight to see
If only you could see it with me.

And their she will be waiting
At the foot of the spire
Bathing in the midday sun
Waiting for your return
As she loves you so.
You will be united once more
And live happily forever more

But this world is no place for two
Only accessible one person at a time
Stuck in a periled pantomime.

I love you so
Goodbye my darling.

Life's Entropy

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Azaleas are pink;
Camellias are to

The sun is shining;
Pastures renew
The sun rises;
Day breaks to

Light bleeds to Dark
Dreams do to
Azaleas are dying;
The camellias are wilting
Everything has turned an ungodly hue;
Thoughts mildly askew
As my world turned;
Shades of blue

Wreck

I ruined you the best I could
I made sure to ruin you in a way that only you and I would comprehend
I gave us something to share when we were over

cunning heart, cunning mind
I tried to cut with what I said
engrave into the mind what I couldn't to the heart

I ruined you, the same way that I was when I was younger
I ruined you so I wouldn’t be alone

As much as you hated me in the end
I knew that you would understand

You always understood

Starry Night

The stars shine, indifferent to what was and what will be.
In a way, the night sky, as beautiful as it may be, is the most nihilsitic thing one may look at
The same stars remains unchanged- from Aristotle's view, or yours

And yet you stare in awe
Of a black that refuses to die

Two moons instead of one- the night is clear tonight
In this Autumn summers breeze, on this grass, there's no greater sight
the stars pair in twins and blind one with awe.

Although the stars will fade,
They will be back, waiting for your return each night
for you to sonder during day, what you yonder at night

The Walls

There's a cozy place inside my head
where my thoughts for you reside
In the cracks between my walls

There's a defect in my head
the walls that keep me safe- safe from harm
They've withered to the pith

it has been days now
The doors seize- frozen still
slightly ajar

I hate you for it
I want you to need me
The way that I need you

A Solemn Night's Dream

I met her on a solemn Autumn night, many moons ago
A night I didn't remember- a night I thought nothing of

It's funny
People leave an impression as time passes
Time: with its sactions and laws- its passage is linear, unable to be bribed or coaxed
It lives purely as life's substrate.

Recently I had a dream
About a night I didn't remember- a night I thought nothing of
There I remembered an encounter
A smile that could lift a mood
Eyes that sparkled in the Autum twilight
And a gaze that, if stared into long enough, seemed to relfect every star and nebulae in the cosmos
A universe seemingly resided behind her eyes

Weary eyed- the recent dream faded
A smile that could once lift a mood had cracked
Eye's grew sullen and dull- adopting a grey complexion
And with the death of a dream
The Nebulae grew dark and the last star burnt out
A hollow stare resided

Time went on- paths diverged in slight
But still, I meet her every night
In a dream within a dream

In wake, I find myself looking at the stars hoping
for us to meet in time- for your eye's to adopt a lost stare
for your smile to ignite a spark previously snuffed out.
I hope, time permitting, I may one day see you again
the way I did on a night I didn't remember
on a night I thought nothing of.

A night I remember, to help me forget.

The stars don't align all that often.
For some- not even whilst dreaming
But until then, I wait
I hope to see you the way I used to
Even if only in a solemn night's dream.

Fall

And while the leaves darken in the Autumn twilight
The fall will never fall the same again

Now you must leave with breeze you came with.

Regardless how many seasons may pass,
your initials will still be etched in my heart.
