Gemini

Do the May days roll into one long bank holiday?
The linearity of time banishing winter blues away
Sunscreen, icecream, flip flops, shades out
As they say until Mays over we should neer cast a clout

Should we listen to proverbs as old as the hills?
Or pretend this is Summer? Go out seeking thrills
June stops by, the only month with 3 birthstones
As our title dictates, how air sign spun

Mercurial, subject to sudden or unpredictable changes?
Unlike the May/ June weather, geminis exchanges
64 degrees F upon average in London, U.K
Forget Me Nots, sure influx

Annual Mysotosis Stricta, 1 year growing cycle
Otherwise known as Scorpion grasses, have muscle
These plants symbolise true love, true blue
Too, you I'm thinking of, make love new.

The Pragmatic Sister and Seafood

All I want to know is
Do I have a distinctive voice?
Standing out in a crowd
Mic in hand, choice

Of song, how important
To hear and be heard
We must be privileged
Do you eat your scallop with beard?

This is reminding me of my ex
My brother says let him go
And I do vehemently
No emotions on show

Are you ready to meet him?
Your next potential ex
As the entropy reenters
No matter how clean shaven, hex

Upon all of us doomed
To end before we begin
Nothing to do in here
Accept, take it on the chin

Tales of Idolatry

Do not weep do not mourn
Do not move like a pawn
Back into his tight grasp
For that mans like an asp

Cleopatra is gone thanks
To his venomous pranks
Oh the fatal bite
Delivered so trite

Vipera aspis, get lost
You too, Naja Haja, tossed
Like a common adder
Becoming cannon fodder

Vipera berus berus
All green eyed, jealous
Follows the woman around
Copulation one bound

To lose in mating season
The dance of the adders, reason
No rear up, push his head under
Else, white flag it, blunder

Anecdote To Be Read In the Age of Capricorn

As we move from the Piscean age into Aquarius
Will mankind accomplish universal brotherhood?
Come together as one, world peace
Within 2000 years, projected, unsure?

Divided, agitated and furious, internally
As citizens, help us, humanity
Macro-level, intellect, reason
Deeper truth, love and prosperity. Cotqueanity

Malice, frigidity, fixed sign, rigidity, stubbornness
Of thought patterns, these set to hinder
Already terrorism and conflict threaten the objective
Belts of the world at war, bombed as a cinder

Principles isolated from the heart, cease this
Negative outlook, give hope, give desire
Those who have gained learning in life utiise it
To accomplish something in life, tear down barbwire

Age of Capricorn coming, bring on the goat
Generations later, reading Age of Aquarius, anecdote

Luke

I've your tub of salt
Stood in my kitchen
I hope you haven't
Gone out with a hot water bottle strapped to your chest
Cuz I love you, you're simply the best

Shall we open the curtains?
Let him in
Triplicate, sin, bin
Eternal life, choose Him, please so that he may see
What we see. Truth, love, free set me

Rootsy

My dad wrote me letters on pink note paper when he was ill
A parent vulnerable for the first time, my empathy, nil
Later on I grew stronger, I offered my toy up
As a companion for dad in his hospitalisation, yup
I had learnt dad as God, dad as superman
A non-starter, never beat him in a race though, fan
Forever. Before that I'd joined Grandma's
Black hand gang, mint imperials magma.
She'd report us! Who to? Dad? he had
Called mum's mum mum, not a fad
or a phase he was going through, no
He loved his Mother- in- Law, as we all did, blow
To the opposition, challengers to the clan
Close knit we were, remain now, began.

One Never Knows, Keep Believing

Bushels please stop this we need our light to be sought
Match come to candle unless moths become fraught
Pure enlightenment's easy, walking out of darkness
Meditations upon meditations engage with our prowess

Letting love in, allowance, saying it, "I love you".
It is in the giving, that is how we accrue
Speculation for accumulation, please do not run on empty
Here let me help you, becoming cognescenti
