I Got Life

Desolate I sit Lonely I lay
Shackled and in solitary
I try to make another day.
My crime - taking a prescription that wasn't written for me; I thought it was legal, signed by Dr. Society.
A variety of ways I was given to comply,
Harm, Step on, and if necessary Lie.
Caught in a crime of the worse sorts,
I looked close at the prescription before going to court. Not recommended with God or spiritual growth, Mixing with Jesus could cause an overdose.
Symptom being confusion in the worst way, Finding it hard to get through another day.
Now I was ready to go to court;
Defense in hand and a chance of sorts. I got out of the car and to my surprise
A sign before me read "Jesus will again rise."
t 'What kind of court is this? "1 say
I heard a reply, "The court of a better way."
Prescriptions are not written and judgements are not passed.
Desolation is removed and shackles never last.
Inside you might see your prosecutor. "Dr. Society";
Just remember it makes no difference because you don't have to agree, A Life Sentence here lasts for Eternity.
