A Word

A word was spinning around in my head,
Cancer was what the doctor had said.
Numbness, foggy, what shall I do, how can I fight this for my family too.
My first thought, but soon that passed.
Acceptance, non resistance, then it can't last.
Trust in my body a strong belief within.
You are in remmission.
A word now is free.

The Stillness Within

THE STILLNESS WITHIN IS WHERE I GO
AND AS I STAY SILENT
THE STILLNESS DOES GROW
PURE LOVE, INNER PEACE, LIGHT SHINNING THROUGH
THAT'S WHEN I KNOW YOU ARE THERE TOO.
NO WORDS NEED BE SPOKEN,
OR ANYTHING SAID, THE TUTH IS YOU'RE WITH ME,
NOT THE THINGS IN MY HEAD.
THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS ARE JUST PASSING THROUGH
THIS IS MY KEEPSAKE,
MY COMFORT IS TRUE
YOU'RE NOW IN GODS KEEPING, BUT MY STILNESS
IS YOU.
