A Poem For May

A Poem For May.

As autumn shade's fall softly upon the ground and cloud's
Melt away as the sun drift's down. Colour's burst into light
and chases cold shiver's of April leaving the smell of fresh cut grass.
Bird's sing melodie's as they swoop through the tree's
chasing away that cold winter breeze.
Limb's stretch as blossoms peep from under their winter coat's .
As May stands tall and everything waits
..........May turned to June saying.... look what I create.

Mam

Music skip's gently like a child into my ear's.
The sound rich in love and free from doubt and fear's.
Stay a while....lift a burden and give me a smile.
Mam do you remember when I was a child
you held me close and told me not to worry it
would be alright.
Can you take me back .
Can you make it right.
Mam i miss you every day and night... but at least I
still have my dream's that's where I'll find you.
With that smile as you tell me it's alright.
Tell me that story you use to tell before I fall asleep.
For when I wake and think of you my heart it will break.
Some day we will be together this I know is true but till that
day your in my heart and my heart is always with you...

Ireland

Water crashes against an unmoveable stone face.
As white foam blows high like star's in space.
My gaze reaches up and over rolling hill's of
beautyful green grass where bird's fly soaring high
looking down on a wonderous land as old as time but as
fresh as the morning dew.
Smoke drifts from a turf fire with colour's of white and blue.
Cloud's of soft cotton spread gently their beauty leaving
bright blue colour's with ray's of golden sunshine.
This is a place where time passes gently by with no time to waste.
Every moment want's to hold you in the palm of it's hand
softly wrapping you in it's beauty.
As you long to stay .
You have found a place like no other.
Along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Visit

The Visit

I hear the humming of the road from under my feet
as I comfortably ajust my new leather seat.
Radio plays memories of songs gone by.
Tapping on the wheel to mr, blus skie's.
Everything feels just like it should.

trees float by fields in bloom and the sun
giving birth to rays of golden yellow heat as
the tapping of my fingers move to my feet.

Some day's everything seems right.
from the sound of the music to the
colour of the light.
As my mind wonders free from all that's in it
I'm inching my way to that hospital Visit.

Love

Words are spoken.
Promises are left unbroken.
An expression leaves a reminder
of all that's unsaid.
The touch of a hand electrafies the mind.
A wisper a look is all it took
for you to be mine.

Sanctury

Tell me the words of a poet and I'll write you a story
Of my past.
Give me the brush from an artist and I'll paint
You a picture that will last.
If you wisper me the words of a lover
Then I'll give you my undying heart.
If you ask me to run till the end of time
I'll run till I'm old and I'm dying.
Show me the way to your sanctury and
I'll show you the way to my heart.
Hold my hand and take me there
Let me feel it let me want to understand.
Silence are the words that is spoken
Your eye's are the doorway to your soul.
If you build your wall's higher than the mountain
Then I'll keep climbing untill I fall.

Despair

Sometimes I don't want to get out of bed.
Not because I'm tired or have to go to work.
Sometimes I can't get out of bed.
For all the reasons inside my head.
Doubt creeps in every chance it gets to
Drag me under to hold me hostage for all
Ive said or taught against my will.
It surrounds me and blocks out the light.
It clokes me and turnes all colours to grey
But maybe , just maybe today is the day.
Without hope we have nothing.
Maybe today is the day. I'll open my eyes and
It's all gone away. Maybe today.
Because all that's left is hope.
Yea hope is all that's left.
