One Last Cast

#3

I had a wonderful life
With a beautiful wife

I had a job of success
lived in a city address

I am now on my own
but ok being alone

with memories of the past
I enjoy this one last cast

The Most Dangerous Loan Shark

A cold night on a dim lit back street
slinks a demon you don't want to meet

He is looking for a specific kill
for someone that forgot to pay their bill

His boss does not give mercy to any
even if one is only short a penny

So remember not to ever get a loan from the devil
because he does not take kind to those who do not settle

A Letter To the President

Why this needs to be read...
People need to smile when they want to cry. LOL
I would send it but safer just letting all enjoy and getting a chuckle. Sometimes we just need to laugh and why not in poetry?

Dear Mr. President,

I ask mr president
dont you see whats evident

You seem to misrepresent
people of who are resident

I know at least one percent
that are very discontent

We try to get your intent.
while you wish for our consent

From the stories you invent
to,"NO, Its not what I meant!"

Or while your acting hell-bent
on so much that you resent!

Also tweets which are torment
and your fake news argument

Your words are not relevant
unless a night time segment

But you'll try to circumvent
with a Spicy supplement

I may be a dissident
yet allow me to fully vent

See, many are not content
and beg you to please relent

from your daily clown event
in this crazy three ring tent!

10 Stones To Love

Howlight was Ruby when Jasper lifted to hug her tight
In the amber sunset of the coming night
but then came a sky of sapphire that evening
Where the moonstone above began beaming
Stars shined like diamonds not quite in the dark
They decided to kiss in the green fields in Peridiot Park
Their love aura glowed all around them like an ammolight
Letting the world know that this was more than a semi precious sight

Memories

I remember my loving pride
And that man with a gun by his side
Anger made me see deep blood red
So I had striked and bit him down dead
Many years passed and I grow old
Memories are all I have now to hold
I look out to the dry empty plains
Wishing I could loose all my heart pains

Minds Eye

#8

Many minds may see all those crows
as some past or future sorrows

But they might not be seeing it clear
Just playing on a deep dark fear
