Thomas Kirschner Poem
Yes I'm a dreamer
I dream all the time
It's a fantasy connection
To my passive mine
Dreams are magic
That's what they all say
Dreams make you smile
They turn night into day
You can dream you're rich
Or lucky in love
You can soar thru the sky
On the wings of a dove
Dreams are important
Without them we're lost
Our lives become passive
Our future pays the cost
There's a big difference
Between memories and dreams
It's like comparing a river
To meandering streams
I'll never stop dreaming
It's just what I do
Expand your world
You can dream too

Thomas Kirschner Poem
The Water Bottle
It was a Tuesday evening
The date was the third
The foreman was late
The plastic was slurred
Then fizz pop bang
The mold gave way
And out I sprang
I was born today
At 16.9 fl. oz.
I was pretty good size
I was placed on a conveyer
With the rest of the guys
I was filled with water
My cap sealed tight
Packaged with my team
Waiting for my flight
It's now a week later
I'm packed in a cooler
Surrounded by ice
But not from a jeweler
Then SHE picked me up
Removed my cap
Placed her lip on mine
And my world went snap
When she was finished
I was tossed in the trash
My life was over
It went up in a flash
Oh the life of a water bottle
It doesn't seem fair
We're toxic to landfills
But the world doesn't care

Thomas Kirschner Poem
How do I love you
I think you know
I love you like the mountains
Love the fallen snow
How do I love you
That's the question to ask
I love you like a child
Loves a simple task
How do I love you
It's my way of life
I love you like my friend
I love you like my wife
How do I love you
I love you day and night
I love you when you're near
And when you're out of sight
I love you at my side
I love you when alone
I'll love you more than ever
Since GOD called you home

Thomas Kirschner Poem
Thanks
This poem I write
It's for my friends
From the past and present
All stars shining bright
When the going was tough
For those that were there
My patient friends
With all the right stuff
From the beginning to end
You can never have to many
So I say to you
Thanks for being my friend

Thomas Kirschner Poem
I'm a nasty little rascal
If you look you don't see
I'll start with one
Soon there is three
Panic is just a word
I now am hearing nightly
I wonder if it works
Or if it's taken lightly
No matter what you think
The outcome is the same
I'm just like my relatives
But with a new name
I'll spend some time here
I'll spend some time there
I'll get your attention
And I won't play fair
The shelves are all empty
Supplies getting thin
The longer we play
There's a chance you might win
The suspense is now over
I gave you all a sign
You've probably figured out
I'm COVID one nine
