Deepest Sympathy

I'm so sorry
to hear the sad news
that your loved one
passed away.
My deepest sympathy
I send to you
as you grieve for them today.
I'll be praying
that your hurt will heal
as each day comes and goes.
Trust the Lord
to comfort you through this
For all about your grief He knows.

Locked Up In Jail

It isn't any fun
being locked up in jail.
Sitting all by my lonesome
in this cracker box cell.

The bed is too hard
and I never really rest.
I asked for a pillow
but they denied my request.

I go to sleep hungry
because the food is so rotten.
I never see a soul,
it seems I've been forgotten.

I'd try to escape
if I thought that I could.
But here in this jail,
I'm locked up pretty good.

Bath Time

Running water in the tub
is how my bath begins.
Mommy adds some bubble bath,
then I toss in all my friends.

Next I shed my onsie
and then my diaper goes.
I jump in - making a splash,
getting water all up my nose!

I pretend that I'm swimming,
way out in the sea.
And while I'm playing make believe,
all my tub friends swim with me.

Bath time is my favorite time
and boy do I have fun!
When Mommy comes to get me out,
I start crying cause I'm not done!

Happy 4th Birthday

Birthday's come
but once a year,
So I hope things
go your way.
It's been twelve months
since you've celebrated,
So enjoy this
fourth Birthday!

Peppers
Plums and peas.

Pasta
Potatoes

Which one of these Pp words
is too hot to try?

My Life Is a Pain

Every day of the week
it's the same old story.
I can't even take a bath
without Nemo and Dori.

I have to share the tub
with Bruce and Crush.
I jump in and jump out;
It's always rush, rush, rush!

If I walk across the floor
I step on Tow-Mater.
And then Lightning McQueen
just a few steps later.

If I watch a movie
I must make a demand.
But after all is said and done,
I watch Elmo In Grouchland.

Even when I go to bed
my life is a pain!
Becaue when I lay down,
I lay on Thomas The Train.

Rest

Backache
Headache
Congested head.
~
I can't sleep
when I go to bed!

Coughing
Sneezing
Watery eyes.
~
Alone and miserable
no one hears my cries!

Tired
Drained
Badly stressed!
~
What I'd give
for a month of rest!

Goodbye Summer

Goodbye Summer
it sure was fun.
Swimming with friends
and lying in the sun.

Goodbye Summer
have a good rest.
You sure deserve it
for you did your best.

Goodbye Summer
I'll see you soon.
I know you'll return
like the month of June.

Goodbye Summer
we've had a good year.
But you must go now
because Fall is here.

Living Life

Summer sunset
Autumn grain
Winter frost
Spring rain

Morning coolness
Noonday heat
Nightime rest
Evening treat

Hungry mouths
Homecooked meals
Working hard
Paying bills

Buying homes
Traveling afar
Spending money
Driving cars

Living life
Giving birth
Facing death
Leaving earth

A Quiet Life

I like living a quiet life
in a city that is small.
I don't like the busy life
where the buildings stand so tall.

I like a yard with trees
and many different kinds of flowers.
I like spending my time outside
instead of sitting inside for hours.

I like working in the yard
and hearing cows that moo nearby.
I like watching the hummingbirds drink
and then flying away so high.

I wasn't meant to stay indoors
doing little or nothing at all.
I was meant to feel the breeze
that blows outdoors each fall.

I like watching the roses bloom
and this I would not trade.
A quiet life is my desire
and it's one that God Ok'd.
