Two Queens

trinkets
goblets
jewels
expensive fabric
buggies and mules

these things entreat the first queen's hear with fuel

autumn leaves
burgundy trees
blue skies
stories of how others survived
the trials and tribs of life

I'll be the second queen tonight

I Am

God is in
the vapors of my breath
the aroma of my Burberry
the vents of my airplane
abouve and bellow my sorrow

God is in my pain
my courage
my past
my present
God is in my
Eur thing

Fire Pants

his house has 3 extra bedrooms
the queen's parlor would be for me

see-through showers
fresh-cut flowers
just for the smell of it

he'd lick my pedals
run the fire sprinkler
in the hall
just for the hell of it

he would ride his white stallion by day
my donkey by night

three cars we'd have
two foreighn
one for the kids to borrow

we'd spend summers
on his boat
with 3 engines

he'd be perfect
to help me untwist
my extensions

the part he forgot to mention
his wife
owned half
of everything he swore he had

Time

every tear has a reason
every smile has a season
every kiss in not pleasing
some things just happen to pass time
