Unknown Victim

Suffocation
Overwhelming darkness engulfs me
Noticed by nobody
Desperation

Broken smiles and fake laughs
Forgotten bruises
An abundance of excuses
A heart broken in unequal halves

Closed windows and locked doors
Missed messages, ignored calls
Stuck inside those 4 walls
A prisoner in an eternal war

A victim crying 'no more'
Undeserved anger, unwanted touches
Deep within the devils clutches
Used to being ignored

A romance to last forever
Picture perfect
Their audience tricked
A captor ever so clever

Everything is getting cold
There's no way out
The only route
Goodbye to the devil's hold
This time I go alone

Love So Bold

Amorousness
A description so vulgar yet so true
A heart beats so intensely
A vehemence of emotion
How I think of you
How stormy the nights be
How perpetual the darkness
Disquietude I am when we're apart
Desperate for your warmth and love
Dare I say of how much effervescence I think of our nights together
Fervidness they are as I admire you
Forever stuck in your eyes as they engulf me
Fearlessly lost in your soul
The reverence I have for them
The secrets they hold, the fears and the dreams
The veneration has no end
Warm overflows me, basking me in your light
With the light comes the warmth through the stormy nights
Our love so passion filled, a candle forever burning
Our two hearts forever yearning
For you alone hold the key to my heart
Follow the broken road down to my soul
For forever and until we part
A love so bold bleeds into the dark

Picture Perfect

What is a moment?
A fleeting idea?
A memorable emotion?
The idea of a moment,
of which is hard to agree,
constantly escapes me.
That is what I attempt to capture.
Photographs
"Worth a thousand words"
This is my goal,
to encompass the
feelings,
the colors,
the life and the love.
Not planned,
not perfect,
human and real.
A single moment compacted,
into a beautiful masterpiece.
Photographs are my paintings,
people are my muses,
this is my art.
This is my enjoyment,
for this is a way,
to capture a moment for all.

Gods Hand

I see color spread as if painted by God's own hand.
I see pink as love as the universe was crafted through nature's devotion.
I see purple like the color of creativity as it flows blending with the pink and the blue to create a masterpiece.
I see blue in the distance, signifying the mysteries this universe hold.
I see the splatter of color and light that contrast the darkness.
I see the care of a creator.
I see the mysterious of space and time.
I see a blend of life and love, a perfect mix of color and space to create something incredible.
I see myself and my soul.
I see the lives of people on earth as they blend onto a canvas.
I see them pushing the boundaries of technology to even see such an image.
I see humankind.

A Dying World

The stars no longer visible
That light since lost
The air no longer breathable
Filled with black smog
Forever a lost dream of a forgotten Earth
The feeling now unknown of dirt and of grass
That now a picture analyzed in class

Robin's Call

Listen still to hear it fly
The flapping of wings and blue sky
Chirping as the sun starts to rise
Watching it turn before your eyes
The beautiful song of natures cry
Like the world's natural lullaby
The orange of their coats reflect the morning
Their calls act as a warning
A reminder to start the day
A sign of beauty without delay
The Robin
A bird often forgotten
Natures beauty often wrought in
In zoos and in gardens
They're often miss between the margins
This symbol of light and of the Earth
Of the soul's worth
How our meaning in life we so crave
We get lost in the coming of days
Jealous of the robin in it's ways
It's beauty and grace
To remain unfazed
Sweet Robin
Thank you for your ways
May you awake me all my days

Sunlight Streaming

Lights stream into the room,
the glowing sun calls me to rise,
to meet the birds as they sings their praises.
The birds songs,
bright and full of life,
telling of the spring that is to come.
Nature's song,
the song of the ocean,
the sky and the land.
Looking outside my window I can see,
the growth of the Earth,
their love and beauty.
Flowers and trees,
the wind and the leaves.
Oh how I am blessed,
with love and with life.
The beauty of it awakens me,
and the joy of it fulfills me.

Heartbreak At Midnight

Bloodshot eyes stare into the overwhelming darkness

Wrapped in solitude as the moon rises

Half of the bed lay empty

Echoing voices call out in sympathy

Tears begin to roll down cold soaked checks

Night is no time for sleep
