Jazz a Bell

Theres a lady that I know
Who knows everybody and everything everywhere she goes
Got any questions; Don't be shy
This ladys got all the answers and not a one a lie
She wears the lateist fashions nothing ever gaudy
All ways on the go,yea, a real busybody
If I'm ever in doubt when she comes around
She'll just fill me in on all the low down
And if I have anything to add or say
Her eyes will widen and it'll make her day
We all know her name but don't voice it aloud
Shes behind every rumor and always in a crowd
When she leaves I really hate to see her go
Cause thats one lady who'll never say "I just don't know"

A December Jewel

Starry starry night
The moon in full so bright
Stillness echoing in my ears
Who can withstand; Over her theres no rule
Life in the grips of a December jewel

Eyes transfixed starring into space
This mind wondering to some heavenly place
With a smile so big you'd think me crule
Sitting in awe through a December jewel

Days into years and years cloud my mind
But having known many in this battle with time
I salute the victor we know whose the fool
I'm just glad I'm enjoying this December jewel

You Know What

Tarot cards and horoscopes
Dream catchers and ounces of hope
Rumors that roll from others lips
To reviel your lifes most recent events
Standing in line number one your time comes round
You open your mouth but out comes no sound
Looking around your embarresment shows throu
Little did you know Saints were in line number two

Heads or tails; win, loose, or draw
Funny how things are not alway the way you saw
The mind you have is your own and it makes you you
Imagnation is what runs wild making a fool; How true
So the next time someone says what you wanted to hear
Take time out and make sure what your heard was clear
A fact doesn't consist of bits pices and words not said
Thats how rumors get started; Heaven forbid

The Winner Is

I've got a real fast car
So I don't know why
Seems the faster I go
The more life passes me by
Lot of people in the fast lane too
Probally end up where they started before they get through
Just a little bit older with another worry line
Thinking they were the first, you know the kind
One hundred miles per hour, now if that seems slow
Try one eighty and before you know
You've past the prime of your life and begin to coast
Down that long highway with your memories just a ghost
So my friend before you come into town
Let off the gas and as you slow down
Remember
Life in the fast lane might seem fun
But why not enjoy life before your race is won

It'Ll Be Allright

If I had all the love that money could buy
I couldn't help but sit and cry
And all the friends that came with dope
Lords knows they gave me just enough rope
If every wish that I wish came true
I'd still be one wish away from you
And when darkness fills the night
Still it'll be all right
      But
Loney and poor I wake to each day
Dareing good luck to pass this way
Chancing it enough to say it aloud
With eyes fixed forward standing proud
I let go with all my might
As the worn and frayed ends dangle out of sight
Darkness blotting out the light
Still it'll be all right
      Hey!
Didn't anyone see
Anyone in time to rescue me
To comfort my agony and soothe my fear
No there was no one ever so dear
And now my journey begins throu this night
Listening to hear but all is quite
With my heart pounding I do loose sight
But my mind whispers
It'll be all right

Wish

I've raced a million stars
Streaked past Saturn,Venus, and Mars
Heading towards a planet such as this
So some lucky person would get their wish
Well here I am come at last
Amazed at all as I zoom on past
Just a shooting star
Whose presents has graced you from a distance afar
With a flash of light and a streak across the sky
Burned out in the instance I caught your eye

Living

I thought for a while
Thought beyond my style
Thought about one person
Ended up cursing
But its alright
Hind sight
Remembering the flight
So I thought some more
Unlike before
Wishing I wasn't mad
Started laughing getting glad
And living

Young and Free

Flying high
Couldn't be more true
Heres to you and I
And all the kites we flew
Some flew high and out of control
But we never dreamed of letting go
Some so big and down to earth
But we kept sailing for all we were worth
Sometime the wind just wouldn't agree
But still our young spirits soared ever free
Living on the edge and oh the chances
More than once we climbed down from the branches
I often think back to those care free days
And the fun we had in our own special ways
The breeze that blew still blows today
Just wish all our kites hadn't drifted away
I'll treasure that time alone with you
So heres to us and all the kites we flew

Da Ja Voo

Somehow somewhere
I'll find my way
The memories of you dear
gone with yesterday
Two lives lost
Two tempered souls
Gone with destinies
Endless roles

If you loose sight
Of what lies about
and in the back of your mind
You remember with doubt
Don't think of me
I won't know you
If memories be
Da Ja Voo

Someday

Ever felt the deck was stacked
Or if some left they wouldn't be back
Ever took a chance knowing theres no way
Or left in a hurry but wanted to stay
Have you ever said yes but should of said no
Ever asked why not wanting to know
Had money in hand to pay that bill
But spent it on something and haven't paid it still
Theres a lot of people like me and maybe you
Whose dreams have dissolved and have to begin anew
While change comes hard to an old man like me
I know putting my life in order is the frist key
And all the dicisions that I make
Whether well planed or just a mistake
Are part of the experience I must go through
To earn my wings and pay my dues
Love,security and peace of mind
Seem to be the hardest for me to find
But they'll come to me I know in time
Allowing my true colors to brilliantly shine
