The Retired Hangman

Fresh reek, Wisteria
Sublime sun casts a umbra
Hanging by a rope

One Last Goodbye

Do you hear it
The kettle hisses, without a hinder
Takes me back to when you's would whisper
You were my fox and you my man
Explain why you ran away with the woman

As if her heart was hard like concrete
There relationship used to be so sweet
As if I'd believe a wolf would maul a swan
And now Daddy is gone

Daddy would never hit mom
But her poppy shapped bruises said different
Their relationship labelled a ticking time bomb
Usually lovers see each other's as equivalents

Back to the kitchen, quoted now
Am I here to confess one last vow
My problems the world knows not
Seemingly sewed into a vile monster
What was the point in one last shot
And now I'm stuck here in yonder

Older now, going out in the tractor
Searching for some of the so called human factor
The grass dancing, waving goodbye
The foxes stopped attentively awaiting a reply?

The Lost Paradox

Take a look inside,
Both dead and alive,
Simultaneously?
How can we measure it,
If something is living, yet finalised?

Propose a second proposal,
Preferably pick a second one,
Work, well that's force over distance,
Yet how can we measure success?

Power is work over time but
It can be just and injust
Who decides control, no not I
It must be him on the inside

Laughing, so can I actually look inside the box..
Like a fidgety penniless ant ready for work,
Yes yes I'm hungry, hungry strong as an ox
Paradoxically held back, retaining an astute smirk

I get it now, needing no quarrels
Acceptance.
It's the ways it's meant to be
If we find out truth we will pay schrodingers fury

Hypothesis: Not a chance of success.
Can I open, must I find out.
It will ruin me I'm told.
Accept the unacceptable

Rendered Dark

A terrible tragedy occurs,
We do not move to handle it,
Yet we wallow in our own self pity,
And allow ourselves to enter the maze
The labyrinth has a centre that stuns and confuses
Why enter the furthest distance from the exit

Rejuvenated in Summer and cowering away in winter,
Yet it is summer elsewhere
We do not have mercy for ourselves,
The indistinguishable difference between humanity and pity
Emulating a casing disproving of truly digging deeper
Angry and hating what we might find

You see a pyramid, made by Gods, worshiped by ancestors
Casual to us until we hear of locks
Blacksmiths forge the key
And produce it available to the common rat
Plaguing the details of an event unbeknownst to us
Tangentially spewing albeit still connected to the central circle

Whatever point you leave you come from the same
How can you describe the catch
22 answers are not enough to explain the downtrodden expression of a lonely man
Without a dog perhaps dead, the sadness drives him to rage
Which unearths and unholy truth
Everyone has a beast and all it takes is a little nudge

Damaged Goods At the Rosebloom Flats

The dust sifts and falls with the Rosebloom powder
To sieve and assume, survival hast made him prouder
All alone like a wolf that's lost
Roaming and trotting, breath crystallising a soft cloud
No Mum, dad or Cubs that's the cost

Apocalyptic fields lead him under and over dusty arches
Sent upon his penultimate marches
A two way transceiver, voice from the heavens
Job 27 the last job in the bloomfields
Hookers lips and dancing girls sad eyes of repression

What a spectacle @ the rosebloom flats, startling frequencies
Warping screams of a girl incorporating ballet
Into a escape attempt from the jigging flames
Welcome to the rosebloom flats hysteria in the air
A hundred infinite Windows expressing her adversity

They all perish not forgotten, you've forgotten that they point
Apocalypse and lonely wolves and an impossible mercy
Off you go on your final walk
The walk towards your delusions
Dreams and nightmares don't mix at least with sandy roses

The Mcwhirtle Vendor

Leonardo The Loyal,
Slow silence lowering but
Who where we to know,
Flowing and pouring, pouring

Purple and royal his chin,
As crochet vines, looming
luxuriously, pennys as payment
Selling everything, the black agent

Dancing With Caution

Aromatically whisking towards leopards bane
Waltzing, being careful to avoid the touch
Hither here step, toe, heel, a scrumptious pain
To tango with the devil's helmet, vomit, double Dutch

A vermilion distillment, a sleepy smile
A foxtrot coalescing with foul swoons
I cannot touch these, a reaction volatile
The rise up, seen once in a blue moon

So it's a rise down, a paddle turn
I can't wait to spend eternity in an urn
These violent delights have violent ends
Caution to the wind, carefully descends

Landing softly, a bed of poison
Swallowing, ever softly

The Year Long Kiss

When we first met, words seemed hard to come by
Out of place, reaching far, yet so comfortable
Lost in your eyes, your smile made me ask why?
She was affable, definitely adorable

A hug a goodbye and a lasting impression
Unable to forget them sparkling eyes, best I've ever seen
I think it was obvious I had a confession
I tried to play it cool and suave, I was indeed more then keen

Her laugh, her soft skin, her lips, her hair enchanting
It was her generosity, kindness, intelligence and self confidence
Inspiring me to be better, do better and make a promise
An unbreakable promise most people can't keep

The times we had were all so golden
Before the times they had us holden
our hands solitary, I missed your touch, your presence
Regrets I had, but priorities stronger, your happiness
Is the one true thing itself quintessence

I miss and missed you every day, the year long kiss as I used to say
But really it wasn't important
The important thing is you and all the little things that accompany you
They say love is complicated
I'd agree
To love somebody like you is easy

I love you more then words can say,
So may it be my actions that will portray
The way I feel about you
Overwhelming sense of pride and joy

It's no secret, your mine and I'm yours for as long as you want
My love is a promise, it runs deep neverending
Remember, there's nobody like you out there

Book: Reflection on the Important Things
