Kelley Collins Poem
This time has come to be apart,
the abusive actions weren't really that smart!
In one angry moment you scarred my head,
You could have been the killer,I would have been dead!
I know amongst all the anger is guilt and remorse;
but,again ,you chose the violent course!
When do you learn self control?
When do you set standards that reach your highest goal?
Turn to the Lord,be filled with his spirit,
Spread his loving words;so,others will hear it!
We're all cracked pots carrying his word;
yet,so many people starve that's never heard!
Each individual pot has its' own hidden flaws,
"Share his message,""Rejoice in his laws",
This my friend will restore your soul,
Happiness will fill our hearts,making us whole!
We all know the Lord is always right;
as,through more Cracked Pots...Shines Heavens Light!

This life is changing as we all know,
I want a baby in my life to grow,
with this need brings choices of blue;
because,in the beginning I had no clue!
From the first moment I was hung;
therefore,our song will never be sung!
I hope you plant this seed;
for,in your heart this is your need!
I hope you find a woman for this baby to carry;
and,be forever happy to someday marry!
At this time,I am happy and sad,
for you,I will always be glad!
I've missed your love since our relationship was done;
yet,I will always be thankful for you hon!

The addict has lost all control,
The abused keeps faith deep within the soul,
To the addict,the pain given is seldom aware,
To the abused,the scars remain because we care!
The addict loses everything one day,
The abused loses love;and,continues to pray!
The world is such a wonderful place,
How many souls' will disappear without a trace?
Lord,help the addicts' before it is too late,
Please stop deaths'from being the pitiful fate!

You are the beauty that fills my days
with brightness and warmth in many ways!
You are the love that makes my life worthwhile.
You bring me tenderness,
fill my heart and make me smile!
You are the pride,
the twinkle in my eye!
There is nothing to equal the joy or happiness
that you supply!
You are the energy that gives me power
to succeed in life ,each and every hour!
You are the hope that makes life so great! You are the gift from God;
that,he has sent to seal my fate!

I gave my trust to the man in the sky,
my children were taken;and,I felt I should die!
Lord,why did he take the innocent and true?
I now live life so empty and blue1
We always kept faith for everyone to know,
father,the pain I carry now,"I'll never let go!"
I see their pictures upon my wall,
I hear their calls when I walk down the hall!
Their lives on Earth were taken away too fast;
by,drugs,alcohol,and a shotgun blast!
I often ask myself,
:why couldn't their dad leave his gun on the shelf?"
I know Lord,my angels are with you,
Through my tears,I pray,lonely and blue!
