Barbara Washington Poem
I have learned over the years
to just shut up and free the peace,
but, some people just keep on talking,
bottle up peace, and free wrath instead.

Barbara Washington Poem
He refused to see who she was
To know what she was about
Believed she was just like the others
He met in the clubs
He could not see her valuable gems
Her heart of gold, before his eyes
Her troubled soul hurt for him
His thorny heart, she sowed her love
He denied the truth believed the lies
Insisted that freakiness was her game
He drew her in with phony concerns
Then dropped the bomb on her smile
She rolled the dice knowing better
Lose herself in his amuse
Behind the clouds that blinded her
He lost her love in the splendor
He hated to show his wicked facade
Cause others would know his sinful sham
Moreover, would see the twin of Satan
Hidden behind his amiable face

Barbara Washington Poem
Way back then
The customer
Was always right
Today
The customer
Is not always right
Is it really true?
The customer
Is always right
The customer
May believe
They’re always right
But in reality
Is usually wrong
Company guidelines
Unknown
Are designed
To benefit the customer
At times
Benefit the company
The customer
That’s always right
Tend to lose discounts
That benefit
At a company lost
Companies choose
To let a customer be right
Because a customer
Is always a customer
But not always right

Barbara Washington Poem
Cranes fly miles
During the winter
Migrating birds
Hoping to reach their destiny.
Buzzards along the way
Look for pigeons
That seek to feasts and
long legged buzzards
search for pigeons
Inside pigeon holes.
Parrots adapt to our
Surrounding
But in the wild
They search out their
Buggery guard diet.
I never knew pigeons
Of millions of buggies
Pull their intelligence
To find their watering holes
Even attacking falcons
Trying to catch a meal
As they fall just out of reach
On a dime out maneuvering
The falcons that continue to go hungry
As the beauty of a sunset paints the skies
And the cranes continue
Their travel through the Himalayas.
The ball eagle awaits for
An exhausted crane
But the eagles aren't the only eyes
Watching these cranes in the Himalayans
Vulgers are hoping to catch an
Exhausted crane on their journey west
A crane that managed to escape
The feast of vulgers
Is spotted by a tigress with young cubs
In the land of india
The vulgers gorge on their stolen feast
Knowing the tigress will return
To feed her cubs.
Even the pigeons on the way
Snatching foods from
The rats mating and eating in chaos.
Eventually the falcons retreat after a few morsels
Taking to the skies
On the horizon cranes
See late comers delayed
By the weather
And take their refuge among them
As they leave the Himalayans
Behind therm.
Wow their journey
Take then across the land
Of camels and villagers
Pigeons feed five days among camels
Learning the camels feeding times
A pussy, not your usual pussy
Like a wilderness cat sneaks among the crowd
Gets her pigeon and feasts
Red crumb swallows in China
are accepted among the homes
Of humans
The swifts are encourage in communities
They are respected
as they keep away the pest
On the journey
swans appear in Japan
Where Japanese cranes
Perceived as good luck and tranquility
Are feed fish by the locals
So many stop migrating
All together
Their seriality is cut short
as the red fox
and the stellar eagles
Descend for a meal.
Cranes find safe havens
In Japan where cranes feed on
grains placed by villagers
For decades.
The Cranes spend their whole winter in Japan
Even moving to make room for
cranes waiting the wings
For their turn to feed on the grains
Cranes are fenced in by
From villagers welcoming their presents
Protecting safe havens.

believe it or not
i would read more poems
if my eyes would allow it
blind in one eye
wearing the other one out
trying to read read read
see see see everything
through my only good eye
going bad bad bad
fast fast fast glaucoma
rule rule rule as king
through my father's loins

Barbara Washington Poem
Nothing In his eyes
i'm nothing in his eyes
how did it get this way?
i gave my all, gave my best
but none the less
he choose to take my child
blindsided by the illusion of love
i though he wanted me
he make excuses about his childhood
so why would you wanna
do that to your own child
betray me in this way
i'm nothing in your eyes
no matter how hard i may try
you want another
i know you do
i wanted you
but you declare i want another
pushing me in that direction
telling other i disrespect you
its a lie you know it
you want another
but you want me to make it easy
give you a way out
a reason to leave me lonely
on skid row begging
i'm done, you pervert
i no longer seek peace between us
you don't want it anyway,
i know it, you know it
you've made that loud and clear to me
while blinding the minds of everyone else
pretending to love, all the while
showing me your true colors
and your fake light to others
i'm done, I'm nothing in your eyes
and you made sure i'm nothing
in the eyes of all men falling for your lies
Ps. why am I'm such a horrible person
why do some people see me as bad
find fault where there is none
finding error in me when i told the truth
made the effort to be righteous
not the self-centered person
many make me out to be
just mere slander, character assignation
questioning my motives in all things
make judgements based on perceive notions
with no base, without foundation
can i survive this persecution
this all out attack on my rights to exist
i'm nothing in anyones eyes
