Danielle Leggett Poem
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask, “How are you?”
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done,
Do you lie in your bed,
With the next hundred chores,
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down!
Don't dance so fast!
Time is short!
The music wont last!
Ever told your child,
“We'll do it tomorrow.”
And in your haste not see their sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die,
Because you never had time,
To call and say “Hi!”
You'd better slow down!
Don't dance so fast!
Time is short!
The music wont last!
When you run so fast to get somewhere,
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry throughout your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away....!!!!
Life is not a race!
Do take it slower!
Hear the music!
Before the song is over!!!!

Danielle Leggett Poem
From the sweet smell of home,
Where we learn to love and grow,
Where we develop logic in the incandescent stars above,
To wherever life may take us,
Comes about the human condition of surety and doubt.
Finding the hazards that come in life,
Such as, the twisting labyrinth of life,
And the unmerciful abruptness of death,
Cannot be as superb as loving the ones your closest to
And cherishing the moments you have with them.
If times get rough because of life's twists and turns,
Then we may always turn to life's most primal of emotions;
Whether it be anger, remorse, or irrepressible joy.
And if we struggle about the seemingly impenetrable four corners of depression;
Hate, sadness, boredom, and distress;
Then we will beckon the ones we need most in this hurtful time in life.
When we find our course again,
And know which way we are going,
We will then have the knowledge to expect,
Yet, another one of life's meaningful challenges ahead.
And so, everyday we will know that life is filled with difficult times,
And a lot of life experiencing lessons.

Danielle Leggett Poem
When your path in life you have lost,
The road I shall guide you to.
When your belief in oneself you doubted,
Your confidence I shall restore.
When unwieldy as life may seem,
Your burden, no matter the weight, I shall carry.
When your capabilities are doubted by others,
Believe in you for all time I shall.
When all your friends are but gone,
A loyal companion I shall remain.
No matter the weather or danger, if you need my help,
Always there, remember I shall be.

Danielle Leggett Poem
Theres no need to express your love with your voice.
However, thats for you to decide and make a choice.
Even though love may not be regularly spoken,
It is always heard and cannot be broken.
Voicing your love is not a must.
Love is more than money and lust.
With unseen love may come the deepest sorrow,
Until one sees by the marrow.
In due time, a new light will show both
That there is still hope and room for growth.
The captive beauty of your inner sanctuary may be found
The moment the heart feels loves first pound.
Perhaps its brought on by loves first kiss.
Its one of life's greatest gifts; its called sheer bliss.
When in search, lurking serpents, you may find,
Have ill thoughts, with you in mind.
An unknown amount of sadness may come in life
If you lose who you really are during one of you strifes.
So, please, hold your head high with no reason to be shy,
For its said that the mind will fly when it keeps an eye on the sky.
Trust me when I say, “Things will always get better.”
Dry your eyes; don't let them get wetter.
I know I said theres no need to hear love spoken out loud,
But it sure feels good to hear it spoken and vowed.
