The die has been cast
And what happens next is really not up to us
As we begin to fall like autumn leaves
Our hearts have begun to speak
And the dialogue between them is what we feel
Our destination is Nirvana far from the sun
A place where two souls meet and become one
To dance on the stars and never be apart

The air is tainted and the sky stays
grey
In this city where the angels have left
People walk around soulless
unable to quench their thirst
for riches and the pleasures of the flesh
The only happiness they know is when there are chemicals buzzing in their heads
They give me the biggest cosmetic smile and say boy I've been blessed
Hoping their expensive suits and dresses hide their iniquities and immolation of the innocent
And hope the that the sweet smelling fragrances will mask the smell of decay of what are now skeletons in their closet
The truth is you are alive but inside you're dead
So your thirst can never be quenched

After centuries of practice,
she is still condemned to the shadows of the attic
were she has perfected her craft
to make the violin gently sing her tale of solitude from the dark
The owls listen attentively to her beautiful melodies all through the night
And wonder for whom she plays for, with a smile on her face till the morning light

As the doors open to where the angels reside
The time has come for me to make the earth my bed and bid you goodbye
I can only hope my energy is transferred
With the happy moments we shared
So that I can walk with peace and joy
on the streets made of gold
and watch rivers that flow with waters that are crystalline
and Flowers dancing gently to the tune of the wind
as I wait for you

Who is she?
Who paints her beauty with words
Portraying all these vivacious colours of hers
On this canvas
Where her emotions are captured
And her true self I can only imagine
Her emotions, a cannon
That blows me away
In my mind she is a silhouette without a name
Hopefully it won’t stay this way
