An Heartless Woman

Used like a man sized tissue
To soak up their emotions
And cast aside in the waste bin of their life
the destiny of man
when in the hands of heartless woman
useful when in need
but easily disposable
like a human carrier bag
for all your unwanted problems
but easily replaced
you care not the hurt you cause
the empty space you leave
feeling hurt
for you are that heartless woman
no man deserves to meet

Unrequited Love

I would like to make the words you speak the sound that moves my soul
I love it when I can see my reflection mirrored in your eyes
As it means your stood beside me making me whole

My essence, my emotions, my being you have stole
I hope you know you make my heart flutter like the wings of a butterfly
I would like to make the words you speak the sound that moves my soul

Can I find the expressions, your beauty to extol?
Now if I could only ensnare you then I would have won the prize
As it means your stood beside me making me whole

Together we could be in Edens garden for a stroll
I could never live without you, I hope you realize
I would like to make the words you speak the sound that moves my soul

Your utter beauty makes me lose all my self-control
My love for you will never be the reason for my demise
As it means your stood beside me making me whole

But I can never find you, your hidden in some bolt hole
So until that day I find you my love will slowly die
I would like to make the words you speak the sound that moves my soul
As it means your stood beside me making me whole

Little White Tablet

A little white tablet
To cure all your needs
To ease your sorrows
And to stop your tears
Just a little white tablet
That’s all you need
They say it fixs broken hearts
And woeful souls
And minds that scream
 I’m all alone
This little white tablet
It’s not all I was told
my sorrows still hurt
my tears still sting
my thoughts are screaming
I wonder if they work
If I take them all.

The Game

The dating site all fired up
the red light on the door ajar
the neon light on the lap dancing bar
It beckons you inside
the ladies of the night
Don't want to know the time
or even know your name
The internet page checks your age
and just asks you payment details
you put them on then watch the cloths come off
sex for sale sex on show
but what most people need is just a hug.

The Last Drive

She parked you in the scrap yard.
You bought the hose and tape on your card.
Works pilling on the pressure.
You left a detailed letter.
Your health is on the wain.
The carbon dioxide will kill the pain.
I can see no change in sight.
You picked your spot and parked at night.
Relationships are just a scream.
The hose connected the car was sealed, all done in a dream.
A future you can not see.
So you just turn the car key
and in a haze my troubles fade away.

A Bridge To Far

A steel grey sky
Electric stars shine
on a far offshore
a bridge to a better place
beckons you to cross
to a destination, you will never see.
Your worries left on the roadside
along with so much unspent love.
A man known by so many
left to walk alone
to the other side
So many songs will go unsung
who knew song lyrics don't float
and my tears will be lost
in the tides of the forth
I'm away now. Folks
away.

Depression

The need to exist is fading
Just like my memories of the good times
My thoughts fester
Dwell in the dark place
where the black dog howls
and it's all that I can hear
Drugs bring the light a bit nearer
but they will not silence the hound
But my front door as bars
and no keyhole I can see
I have friends that would listen
but no words that I can say
my silence maybe everlasting
and that's all that I will say.

Used

You fashioned my heart
on a cold steel anvil
bashed it and beat
tried to reshape it
got bored and then left it
you’re a woman
husbands and boyfriends
passing acquaintances
all left broken hearted
lives ended early
years wasted in grieving
on the actions of woman

more men have died with a broken heart than any war and I add vice versa as well.

Left Upon the Shelf

To know you made by day
to love you ruined it
to hear you speak you touched my heart
yet the words you spoke broke it
your looks charmed me
but those eyes could burn my soul
when love goes wrong
theres no cure for a broken heart
relationships may come and go
but are not disposable to be cast aside
people are not accesorys
to be changed to match your mood
rememember this or you to may find yourself
left upon the shelf

Just Pixels

Look what you have done to me
ripped a hole where my heart used to be
watched as my tears fell into the sea
no one will notice whats a few tears in an ocean
words tumble of your lips
causing a landslide of my emotions
oh to be loved for just one more day
but now your a seldom visited profile
on an often visited facebook page
who would have thought
the one i loved is just a bunch of unloved pixels
on my facebook page.
