Dusted By Love

Miles went the season of love,
When trees shed leaves to bless the grounds
And the birds chirped to hail the dawns
Happy was the cry of folks.

Passed the days with draughts to follow
Rose the demon that fired a curse
Dawns covered under the dusts of hate
Cried for the thunders to bless their fate.

Breezes now warm with heats of cash
And demon taking over the city of Gods
Pleaded the puppets to the creator,
Who was sleeping the dreams of merry.

Woke up the creator by the puppets' prayers
And dropped a tear, when he saw everything turned dark
Ordering the thunders to pour the rains of love
Walked off the creator with a sword towards the demon.

Burst out the clouds, pouring drops of love
And came the creator riding on a chariot of hope,
Then took over the demon to clear the skies
The dawns arrived and the season was love again.

I Grow Tall

Passing through the woods, I saw a tree,
Standing tall with fruits ripe and leaves green
Mighty was its long trunk
Uniqueness was in its being different from junk.

My abode was planned there,
The tree had a happy sight as I was near
Happiness turned into tears as it grew dark
Which dropped down like a diamond off the bark

Late in the sleepy night , the tree gave a whisper,
Wishing to tell a tale faster and quicker
Be a diamond not the coal said the tree
For the air around you is lot more free.

Rise till the stars, as I am now weak,
The woods around me have made me smell reek
The powers I had will now be yours
For I will be dead and there will be no remorse.

The dawn arrived with a moment of loss,
I dropped a tear or two with my fists close
The years passed and now I stand tall
With the light restored and life too small
