Melinda Bond Poem
I take a drink and let my body die look around hear the people cry I wait till night to take a
bite before I see the light I will never go outside till night I am the creature of night, I will
never die unless I see light I will never go outside till night I am the creature of night I will
never grow old I am always cold take one look and you will know I am the creature of
night, Turn your head and I will take a bite my fangs are sharp but they feel nice my eyes
will hypnotize cause I am the creature of night, I hunger for your blood I hunger for your
blood I am not looking for love I just hunger for your nice warm red blood let me taste
your blood let me feel the warm flesh on your neck, With one bite you are mine with one
bite you are hypnotized cause I am the creature of night.

Melinda Bond Poem
She lay there in the meadow on her back watching every thing go by so fast
nothing could get her out of this trance not even the sound of her childrens
laugh. She lay there in the meadow all drowned in tears wondering where
she would be in the next five years. She lay there on her back watching
the sky turn gray never will she see her children play. She lay there day by day
by day everyone she loved went away she turned old and gray then passed away

years old she is not like all the other girls that she knows when they were
all busy trying to fit in with the crowd she was proud to stand out and when
they would laugh and say Emma why are you so strange? she would
look at them and proudly say I was born this way im not going to change

Melinda Bond Poem
This toxic bottle sits in my hand this
toxic bottle is my only friend, this
toxic bottle took away my life now
I am sleeping on the cold hard
ground, this toxic bottle is eating
away at my insides & ruining my
mind but I can't seem to put it down
& pick my self up off the ground.

Melinda Bond Poem
You seem to have the perfect life you have the boy by your side you have created life
but all you really do is cry you wake up in the middle of night and realize he isn't by your
side & you start to wonder why you deserve such a messed up life, You're the envy of all
of your friends but in reality you just want it all to end Every day you pretend your ok
you cover up the bruises & put a fake smile on your face you know you're a shameful
disgrace & you deserve it when he puts his fists in your face, You're sitting at home
watching him shoot up again you've had enough of his hell you grab his keys run
towards the door but he throws you to the floor just like all the other times before. You
go to your room begin to pray please God take this away i don't think i will live to see
another day.

Melinda Bond Poem
The blind man on the streets doesnt
have to see to know whats wrong
with humanity he just
sits there listening to every ones
ignorance. The anorexic stands
there feeling her rib
cage because she is afriad to gain
weight does she not see that hungry
child trying to eat
off her plate. The drug addict is at
home taking a hit but does he even
know who is
watching his kid. The hooker on the
streets is working hard for her
money but does she
even know whos the father of her
baby. Whats wrong with society
when will they see this is
not the way life was meant to be.

Melinda Bond Poem
She closes her eyes trying not to cry she closes her eyes trying to hide from his
anger she closes her eyes trying to hide from him forever, She covers her bruises
she covers her wounds she covers her face she knows she is his disgrace,
She is in pain she is ashamed she is alone she has nowhere to go she
stays there watching him drink his life away she knows soon he will fade
away, she knows soon his life will end and her life will soon begin.
