Hypocrisy of Thoughts

Finally we are here
Do we stand mighty and strong?
Warriors but without swords

Finally we are here
Do we shake the ground we stand?
Powerful but without strength

Finally we are here
To the land of the heroes
With blood that spells disgrace

Finally we are here
To the land of the leaders
With tears that spell shame

Let us follow and never lead
Let us march after the tyrants
The blind’s man stick is more help

Let us not ask questions
Nor answer any of them
Stay quiet, we are the mute

We cannot hear the insults
Exploding behind our ears
Keep ignoring, we are the deaf

Dig our holes and fall in them
We cannot see what is under our nose
Never look front, we are the blind

Let us die for injustice
Let us kill for inequality
With violence, we can better the world

Let us raise the sword on our brother
Let us spill the blood of our mother
After all, what is family?

Kill the Devil Inside of You

He looks in the mirror
He can see his red eyes
They are staring back at him
He doubts if they are his own

Inside of him, the answer pounds
It is the devil, no one other than him
"Could it be?" He asks. "Could it be?"
"My past sins are haunting me?"

The devil is inside of him
Now it takes its comfort
It thinks and then it talks to him
Do this, do that, it orders

He refuses to obey
The demon feels defied
"How dare you disobey my orders?"
"Do you not see what you have become?"

"Am I my own devil?"
The man asks muttering words of confusion
Is there something inside of him
Or has he just gone mad?

What you have done
Sometime in the past
Sins of the most heretic
Now they all come to due

Screams of denial
Wanting to rip through
The ribs of and old man
Inside the young one

He tries to fight
But who is there to defeat?
Is it truly his sins?
Or is it the voice that speaks

Of all enemies
Long since gone, and all those ahead
This was the one
No power can budge

"Yield to me, or you will face
The most horrible of all horrible fates"
The demon inside speaks again
This devil will never give in

He looks in the mirror again
Who is it that he sees?
The ordinary man down on the street
Or the man sentenced to death?

This time it is not
Evil that he sees in his eyes
But instead its the burning flames
Of the demon's home called Hell

This is his last chance
The choice is in his hands
there is no one else to fight
And no one left to defeat

All the enemies
Lie within yourself
No enemies but the demon within
So kill the devil inside of you!
