Tilly's Limerick

I'll tell you about our Tilly
Who more often than not is quite silly.
When she's safe in the car
(Her barks won't travel far)
This brave dog grunts and howls willy-nilly.

Door is opened, the story's quite different;
It would seem all of her energy's spent.
Now our Tilly's so timid
Because she might be in 'it'.
She must think that the cat is omniscient|

Old News

The sun doesn't shine the same,
See an end to the monopoly on the game.
Once rabid wolves now shriek like a fleet street fox.
do you see with thine eye, tv is just a brainless box.
The guardian no longer guards info, wars
for your thoughts wage on sheets- some red-topped, some broad.
Now is the time for the independent minds to channel -
for
what's right for what's left, see what conclusions we can draw.
To nurture potential, see what we can be. Be. See
Arty types coexist with the old guard and let speech truly be free.
Hold yourself accountable to what you see in the mirror, daily. Male
Or female, you needn't subscribe to see the truth written plainly.
While everybody wails online, the telegraph arrived:
They all have their own agenda, it's up to you to find.

Ivory Perpetual Romance Prevails

Sometimes, things really are black and white,
Like how i'd back you and fight for you with all of my might.
Though I'm just a pawn in Love's game,
This knight will remain untamed -
Mostly moving forward until our castle is claimed.
Somewhere to spend never-ending nights
With wispy daggers rising from the fire alight -
My queen and her king in white.
Both bored of playing games;;
I couldn't picture anyone but you in the frame.
The pristine pieces are falling into place, one space at a time.,
I can settle for a stalemate -
If I'm forever yours, and you're forever mine.
Hear the bishop as we set sail -
Ivory perpetual romance prevails.
