Sake Hangover

her mannequin flesh and acidic eyes dragged his inner beasts of burden from his bones and ruined them both. the subtle silence of bitter thoughts and broken promises creep through their pores and violates their veins. love is a marionette, twistedly dancing without ever touching the ground, mocking almost lovers and the corpses of letters written in bloody tears. he said, "be my coffin", her response was a peck on the cheek and the slamming of a door.

Some Kind of Cute

She's like some kinda cute.

She’s like “comic book, best friend next door”, cute.

As if some special, specific sign of wanting without intent.

You feel comfortable and insecure all at once.

And time never seems to move slow enough.

She’s like “dime store, stained glass”, cute.

Fragile, but not gaudy, no price tag, but surely not free.

You want her, no matter how little pocket change you have.

Something tells you that if you give everything it’ll be enough.

She’s like “cat in the pet store window” cute.

Soft, with short fur, big beautiful eyes, and the sweetest purr.

She is cuddly and warm and in need of hugs and kisses, and love.

With every string of your heart pulled, you take her home.

She’s like “over-sized t-shirt and nothing else”, cute.

Long, skinny legs that lead to where you want to go.

Hair, also long, reaching the base of her supple yet lean backside.

You are handcuffed by your gentleman trade and merely caress this creature.

She’s like “tattered diary and tear-stained pages” cute.

Love poems written on hands, and wrists, ankles, and knees.

A novel of noble actions printed on her frail back.

The chapters seem endless and I trace the words.

She’s like, “nothing I had ever know before” cute.

Obsession

pay me to depress
you with words written poorly,
feed your obsession

Abc - Memory

Antiques gathering dust on hidden shelves.
Bits and baubles from kinder times.
Can you hear their stories amidst the silence?
Do you care to learn from the past?
Each day the dust gets thicker as the memories thin out.

Breathe and Float

Take care of yourself, the waves won't stop crashing just because you're too tired to swim. Understand when you need to float. Understand when you need to hold your breath. Understand when you need to breathe.

Another Poem For the April Fool

Of course, I still love you, I just don't want to talk to you right now.
I don't have any words for you at the moment.
I don't have any emotions to share with you.
I don't the patience for silence tonight.
So let us just say nothing.
I'll find noise elsewhere.
Maybe that makes me a fool, but I've been foolish before.

What's That Noise

I guess I didn't know how much pain I was in until I finally stopped and breathed in deep enough to feel the broken bones rattle and the shards of broken promises cut deep into my vital organs. I'm alive but barely living. This is the price of petty pride and poor coping mechanisms. Oh, how I wish I could've learned more as a young man.

Blooming Hatred

Forget-me-nots and roses don't make the bruises fade, you're a monster.
