Hand In Heart

Hand in heart and heart in hand
This love of ours feel so grand
Steal the show start the band
dance all night and never end
the feeling of your heart near mine
is only the pure divine
Cupid knew just what to do
when his arrows struck both me and you
Now together here with you
Hand in heart and heart in hand

I Am Me

Because i am me and I am who I'm meant to be Living with depression, anxiety, fear and lack of trustI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Raising my children the best way I know howI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Trying to fulfill my dreams without a soul at my sideI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Being the best I could be, only to fail in the endI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Hurting so bad just wanting it all to endI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Becoming stronger right as I was about to give inI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Finding hope and finally becoming freeI am me and I am who I'm meant to be Starting a new, becoming the real me, finding the life that was meant for me and only meBecause.…I will always be just me and I am exactly who I was meant to be!

Refelction

A reflection is a funny thing.
No matter how you look at it, it will always look back at you the same.
No matter how much you want it to change it never will.
You will always be you unless you change you.
But what fun would that be?
There have been times when I didn’t want to be me.
A time when I hated the reflection I would see.
As I got older it still wasn’t easy.
But I have come to love myself.
My reflection is now my favorite thing I see.
I hope one day you’ll love you, and everything you have come to be.
Take a deep breath and look in the mirror.
There is your destiny!

Once upon my time

Once upon a December we were friends.
Once upon a cold night holding onto a time we knew someday would end.
A whole new world we’ll never see.
You're stuck drowning under the sea, after letting go of my hand because you wanted to be free.
Lost in the jungle like a lost little boy.
Running around like a living toy.
All your hope was left out in the rain, which left you mad but not insane.
The pirates of life struck you with so much fear, sometimes all you can do is let down your hair.
Save yourself from the castle when no prince is near.
Sometimes you need to stand up and be brave, try to fix your own mistakes.
Dragons, bears and tea parties for two.
Wicked witches flying on brooms.
Off to Neverland for me, because growing up is what broke our family.

My Wish

I never knew I could love like this.
What’s another word for Bliss?
I finally got my wish, all those nights waiting for a shooting star, I don’t miss.
Every night as I lay down to sleep its safe and sound your arms keep, with me in them I fall fast asleep.
In the morning when I wake it’s your smile, my breath it takes.
When I’m lost because you are not near, I know in my heart your always here.
When I was little, I made a wish, that one day my heart would get all that it has missed.
Then I found my happiness, which is also another word for bliss!

Loving Me

Walking through the forest to give my mind a rest.
Taking time to unwind hoping for the best.
Swimming in the ocean feeling the cool breeze.
Giving back to myself finally at ease.
Laying in the flowers loving the sun rays.
Praying for forgiveness letting go of yesterday.
Running on the open road not another soul in sight,
Hoping for the moment waiting for a time that’s right.
Giving back to myself, taking time for me, loving everything I am.
Sitting silently.
