My Little Lioness

Fear has no place in
your heart my little
lioness,
for you are so
brave and strong.
I know the blame
from others will always
be so wrong and fast
but I do know that you
were built to last throughout
the storm
And you are so loving and
warm.
The serpents and their words should really not be heard;
for they are ants compared
to the elephants of ideas
in your head and the gentle strength and wisdom you
so delicately possess.
So my lovely little lioness,
with a heart of gold
and a wonderful tale
to be told some day...
Stand up and be bold
enough to blow the
sour serpents away
with a new roar they
haven’t heard before!
You are so much more.

Bloody Leaders

If a busy gun takes lives
Then silent leaders do worse
They burn lives,hang knuses on the innocent.
Voice your pain
Or get blessed with a curse.
Blood shed schools,
We elected fools;
Wrong leaders to lead us
Pushing useless agenda’s
While feeding us propaganda.
Halls covered red,
thousands of innocent people facing price hikes;
At the expense of gun reform laws.
Watching news with dropped jaws,
We sit in silence
while the voiceless die for peace.

If I Don'T Tell You Now

If I fail to tell you now
as I always do;
Death might be walking my lane and I still keep these words unsaid.
You're the beauty of my life
And your presence brings light.
I owe everything to your merciful heart,
I wish to tell you how I feel bout you
But some words are better unsaid;
Waiting for the day I say (I do)
All the promises,all the things you did for me;
If I don't say thank you
I'll be reliving my childhood selfishness.
I love the beauty I find in your warm beautiful brown eyes,
It makes my heart complete and I want to admit;
Every time you look at me
I feel unheavy yet uneasy.
To me,you're the Eastern Star
With a big glow,bringing life to the lifeless morning;
With only birds that appreciates the gift of life and mankind that curse yet another day of school,work...
And endless hustle.
You're my forever friend
I've loved you that I hate to admit it
But I'm happy I'm writing this piece just to express words unsaid
And show how I appreciate your presence.

Desire Breeds Suffering

Craving is an arrow in the heart,
the poison of ignorance;
that spreads its toxins through desire, passion and illwill.
Bound with the bondage of craving,
our minds smitten with suffering
we are bound with the bondage of desire;
with no safety from this vicious cycle.
Beings going through the wandering-on,
headed for birth and death
While those who've abandoned craving,
free themselves and reach the ending of fermentations;
though in the world,
have gone beyond.
Craving is the cause by which breeds stress.
If its root remains undamaged and strong;
A tree,even if cut,
will grow back.
So too,if latent craving
is not rooted out,
suffering returns.
Encircled with craving,
people hop round and around
like a rabbit caught in a snare.
Tied with fetters and bonds
they go on to suffering,
again and again,for long.
For a person
forced on by his thinking,
fierce in his passion;
focused on beauty,
craving grows more.
He's the one
who tightens the bond.
But one who delights
in the stilling of thinking,
always mindful cultivating
a focus on the foul:
He's the one who will make an end,
the one who will cut desire's bond.

Will You

Will you take me into your space,
cradle me upon the sultry limbs of your nebulous grace?
the expansive arms of the universe,
where peaceful slumber awaits.
Your poetry laden comets,
bore abundant love;
all towed in freights.
Gingerly drinking in the depth
of your face,
seemingly blindfolded;
I'll tread each dark crater.
My head in a swirl of your majestic trace,
where I would stumble upon
a love ever so pure.

Another Chance

When you attempt something for the first time and fail,
You will get another chance.
When you try to create something new and it collapses,
You will get another chance.
When your soul gets hurt and no one helps to heal you out;
When a smile is not enough,
don’t make a pout.
When nothing goes in your favour,
Please don’t shout;
Keep your step back and wait
As you will get another chance.
When you're climbing a hill and suddenly dropped down,
you will get another chance.
When everything goes in vain and you get totally lost,
Just stay calm as you will get another chance
But what this another chance is?
It is nothing but just a motivating force
When you're in a deep sorrow,it will give you a new hope,
It hold you tight just like a safety rope,
It energies you to a new scope,
So there will always be another chance
Untill and unless you don’t lose hope.

KEEP ON SMILING

If at times you feel you want to cry,
And life seems such a trial.
Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky,
So make your tears a smile.

As you travel on life's way,
with it's many ups and downs.
Remember it's quite true to say;
One smile is worth a dozen frowns.

Among the world's expensive things,
A smile is very cheap.
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.

Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unhidden.
And sometimes a few tears must fall;
Among the laughter hidden.

So when friends wear sadness on their face
And trouble is piled around them,
The world will seem a better place
And all because of your smile.

Queen

You're queen to the moon
Sister to the distance,
Friend to the eastern star
And daughter to the nature's beautifier.

Equality

Justice is not equality,
Freedom is not fairness.

It's better to admit you don't understand;
than to torture the hopeless.

Waiting for peace on earth,
you dare to hold your breath.

So I'll let you suffocate;
We're equal in death.

Democracy

To lie is to kill
Freedom is not free
And democracy does not exist.
