Cyst

The sun, laughing, comes pouring through
Just how long was the night
Pop the pill and scratch my skin
There's no begin in sight
Flowers they send make you feel so plain
Kiss them back, but I know the risk
Autumn rain won't get me clean
After three seasons of hibernation sickness

Is there a drug that makes you whole
Cause all my holes just grow somewhere else instead
There's a place for people just like me
Purgatory wants me out of their hair

I greeted death at the door
The insurance will not cover this
Flowers, petals, a raging storm
Living life covered in cysts
So I button silver on a fading vest
The sun won't say hello today
Death was fairly absolute
But the door has closed too many other ways

Is there a drug that makes you whole
Cause all my holes just grow somewhere else instead
Your taste in still in my mouth
I guess that's why I feel in love with medicine

Harlequin

She's a mirror to the outside world
Prostetic porcelain girl
She appears as a rag doll torn
An honest case
Still born
Tried so hard to make the show
To condemn it all to hell
I guess I will never know
How to diminish the spell

Shrouded in the lucid dream
I will number the dead
You can never escape the clutches
Of my fragile Harlequin

Her mouth is a caddle for genocide
Hidden in this stitch
Laced in a smiling frown for me
Advertise innocence
How could it end like this
With all these fingerprints

Shrouded in the lucid dream
I will number the dead
You can never escape the clutches
Of my fragile Harlequin

Feeling daunted
I lay defeated
For everyone to see

Shrouded in the lucid dream
I will number the dead
You can never escape the clutches
Of my fragile Harlequin

Take your
Take your
Lobotomy
I know better than to be
I know I'm the last to leave
My shattered Harlequin

Communication

This room with God
And the door's too small to fit
Ate this drank, drank that
Stirred sordid in it
Off with my head, on with the scene
Do this all in decadence of me
Would you cascade into the old
With the rabbit calling from the hole

I wore this scab as a crown
Who will bow before me now?
I would see this daydream away
If I thought I'd lose you just one day

God made the machine
After you came out of it
Can you love me
Through the evidence
Words are priceless, actions bledd
Do this all in decadence of me
You and I agreed
To battle each other for eternity

I wore this scab as a crown
Who will bow before me now?
I would see this daydream away
If I thought I'd lose you just one day

Falling up in this down
A lovely caucus race
With Walrus and Carpenter
In distant first place

I wore this scab as a crown
Who will bow before me now?
I would see this daydream away
If I thought I'd lose you just one day

Blue-Eyed Sunrise

Silver lining, raining lead
Tears without joy
Was it something you said
Please divise me and epihany
Because the same old facts are
Getting to me

So I've been told
How can I here it
There's dangers outside the hole
Outside the controll

Boy, that's what we rely one
The warmth in the unknown
A blue-eyed sunrise
The promise of the gallows
Something in it
Bid my mind to cry

The girl waves a tattered flag
The man rose his gaze with a slant
Please don't throw the shore
The stories are old
With different foes

So I've been told
How can I here it
There's dangers outside the hole
Outside the controll

Boy, that's what we rely one
The warmth in the unknown
A blue-eyed sunrise
The promise of the gallows
Something in it
Bid my mind to cry

Wax Man

His hatred here to stay
Their feelings float away
That man was cast in stone
He'll be here long after we're dead and gone
Chewing on his 7th sin
Understand? He can't begin
To feel the error in his ways
So he sits and numbers the days

Where is the sunshine when the martyr falls
You kept it all behind the glass wall
So he falls from paradise again
To play God with little children

My babel tower to rise
Steal the breath and smear the skies
Push it all out, try to pretend
But you can't change anything in the end
My hatred here to stay
Your feelings float away
Wave around a loaded gun
Temper, temper little one

Where is the sunshine when a the martyr falls
You kept it all behind the glass wall
So he falls from paradise again
To play God with little children
When my heart cried out in agony
No one held me and said never again
Slouching in my throne with devils in my head
Homeless, friendless, now powerful instead

I'd prefer not to confess
My mind is in distress

Where is the sunshine when a child falls
You kept it all behind the glass wall
So he falls from heaven into you
To play God wthis king, this fool
