Broken

Broken
Broken glass, torn jeans, a weathered hat
All once beautiful

Glass, maybe a work of art in a museum,
bringing beauty to a bare wall.

That perfect pair of jeans,
that fit your body like a glove,
and when we wear them we shine as a movie starlet

That perfect cowboy hat shaped to perfection,
picked from a five and dime that has character
of an old western movie,
when worn you swear you can smell the stale liquor
from old west saloons

All once shiny as a new penny...
Broken as in "Broken in" or damaged?

One persons trash is another person's treasure.
What appears to be damaged just may be character.

Character I give you me.
Broken

Innocence Forgotten

Fake Steak perpetuate, ate your words
tongue-tied evil lies behind trembling cries
devils fork tied wrist, stake to my core
reassuring tender touch, trust not
quiver recoil toy with the babe, rape of innocence
with a slap of disbelief disobedience,
tug of war used to search babies' minds
Preying on the weak
Sign of the times?
"boys will be boys"
"I'm just doing it for the money"
"it's only sex"
"she liked it"
"I just had one drink"
"I promise I won't hit you again"
"I'm just a girl"
as she sneaks out of a window at midnight.

Sense of Desire

Pedals fall from a night sky
whispering your name
angelic laughter, a child's weep
Showers of gold specks
lining the eyes, purity rebirth
Sunflowers aroma celestial fields
Nurtures God's misty dew,
mucky to the touch
Melons on the horizon,
Squelch for an oasis washed for the senses,
honeyed, sticky dessert
A tropical island, a coconut's medallion
Senses overload
Savor ribbons of fire, desire

The Seat of Heart

My heart torn to shreds by you,
my hero in my mind,
the one who saved me,
you mean beast in reality,
here to torment my very exsistance,
still reaching out and crying,
feeling this beast soul, or troll?
Does God know his children would suffer so,
curse him and everything here,
emotions boiling over, can't stop.

Where is this angel I feel in my heart?
Is this abstract art,
only in the eye of the beholder,
illusion only to the artist,
Or is there a universal truth to the artist strokes?
Strokes of paint that turn to tears with one thought of not so innocent fears.
Where is my angel I pray,
This masked feeling of my soul?

Abstract is only for the artist to see,
everyone else does not see. Love is an abstract
emotion not meant to see,
its an illusion of the heart deep within so torn apart.

Far apart is where the wounded must stay,
not fit for society.
Bleeding hearts cannot show their ugly face,
for no one will believe the torment when we sleep,
if we must shed our skin do it quietly,
for no one will hear. For as we see,
that is the way it should be.
To Thee

Musical Waves

Melodic waves of tenderness,
embraces my soul of heart broken,
Strings soothes my every pain, stitches
my every woe, heals every harsh,
uttered word, Music, the rythym of all there is,
set in motion, a stomp, a thump,
a string made love to through strokes
made from ribbons of satin, Soft to
the touch, intense as the musician
moves to the waves of inspiration
Beauty felt, destiny made,
Listen closely to the waves set
in motion, Music, the language
of the beat of the heart,
Passion coming forward, cries letting go
through every beat,
reaching every soul,
Flying one note at a time,
Can you feel the wave?

Life Here To Tell

Waves crash to the essence of the body
No warning to the yearning, aching
Tidal waves slave to the rush, gush
Blood warming crown, root
Take flight to sharp sensation
Cherubic flowing burn, rupture body vessel

Acquainted soul mortal fateful death?
Sighted again in this animation
Time savage reality wept tears better unseen

Gather again the almighty roller coaster biography
Robust souls battle their warrior bosum
Useless against God's potency
Facing their fate, late, hesitate
Fade to dark, sleep

Summer's Kiss

Hearts on fire
Summers desire
Boy meets girl
Tangled with blissful eyes
will disguise true lies

Blood filled glass
breaking to the point of distress,
brought by yearns of tickling heart strings,
that can't be seen

To the tip of God's great ocean
Begging and pleading more, more!
Feel this what I created, there for all,
Must find it in the dark murky water
Your reflection not seen is now found
Brought to you, the truth,
through that one summer's kiss, bliss
The beloved meant for you for eternity
Brought to you by thee.

Still Cold

Cold Night
Fright so cold
Slightest touch
Strange fuss for the gifted
lifted to a pedestal not deserved?

Tenderness embrace lies to your face,
Cold blue stare,
goes through the air,
explodes everywhere,

Peace of the stare is there,
I dare to feel me?
Hole in my heart has been there
Cold nights from the stare

God give me grace, to have an embrace,
to reach my heavenly entwined shape,
envisioned by time infinity
souls hope for the spark to be free
from cold night stare

Can't you hear them?
They are there
Listen closely
The cold is right here.
