Wish a Lovely Wish

Close your eyes and count to three
Wish a lovely wish and you will see
Sparkling dewdrops glistening of rain
Fields of flowers where tiny elves reign

Soaring gliding birds give rides for free
Chattering squirrels live in a willow tree
Gathering nuts for the long winter ahead
Scattering leaves to line their little beds

Twinkling teardrops light the sky at night
Dusting trails of diamonds glittering bright
Luminescent moon glowing in scholarly ease
Excellence of purity to be seen in the trees

Dancing angels carving beauty in all of life
Wending paths of love erasing life's strife
Close your eyes and count to three
Wish a lovely wish and you will see

Moonbeams and Sunshine

Evenings dancing fire
Radiant light cascading
Nightfall slips in place

Ebony backdrop
Celestial glory ignites
Diamond light shimmers

Soft sweet hues arouse
Luminous fingers of light
Encompassing life

Death Dishonorable

Deepening black of the coming night
Foretelling of the evil things to come
Swirling black clouds filled with might
The blackened place that hate comes from

Senses sharpened, sight honed blade sharp
Keen eyes searching in the blanketing fog
Tick tock tick... sanity of mind departs
Terror leaps from behind the broken old log

High pitched keening swells in broken notes
Rushing blood pummel confinements of the mind
Teasing wind shrieks and playfully gloats
your sanity is missing, left for you to find

Pervading evil and madness glittering cold
Bone shattering lonliness fills your soul
Terror... terror... terror... vicious hold
Paralyzed in a death that is dishonorable

Endless Sea of Time

Endless sea of time softly drifting
Soundless it slowly passes right by
Sand of the hourglass gently sifting
A complete revolution lightens the sky

Soundless it slowly passes right by
Creeping forward on noiseless feet
A complete revolution lightens the sky
Time spins forward as each day completes

Creeping forward on noiseless feet
Whirling days slip right into years
Time spins forward as each day completes
Times gentle hand erases all your fears

Whirling days slip right into years
Sand of the hourglass gently sifting
Times gentle hand erases all your fears
Endless sea of time softly drifting

Web of Reason

Slashing vibrant colors humming ceaselessly
Swirling roiling hues blending unmercilessly
Royal blue piercing sanity's tenuous hold
Crimson streaks tumbling like molten gold
Streaming screaming colors weave insanity

Interlocking webs of reason slowly unravel
Melting resonating spectrum of sanity travels
Sunshine bright yellow carves through my mind
Fuschia bolts blurring and fusing unshined
Thunderheads of color spinning out of reality

Wild wonderful rush of complete dementia undone
Whispering lights invading my thoughts on the run
Dove gray slides in through my open screen door
Ebony slickly covers and dulls my senses evermore
Opens the invitation of my mind to fertility

Gentle Dancing Singing Summer

Gentle raindrops kissing my brow ever so lightly
Dancing mist tracing effervescent trails on my cheeks
Singing wind ruffles daintily my loosely tied hair
Summer light cascades over my winter weary soul

Gentle thoughts flow sweetly
Dancing memories explode in joy
Singing heart swells in peace
Summer love rekindled

Gentle smiles
Dancing hearts
Singing joy
Summer sun

Polished Sheen

Softly glowing gold
Polished to a satin sheen
Sharply faceted diamond
Beveled edges contain fire within

Sheer golden heirloom
Speaks with grace in beauty
Humbly gleaming of unmasked glory
Polished to a satin sheen

Seemingly transparent beauty
Awaits the light for life
Caught in sunshines rays it ignites
Sharply faceted diamond

A spectacular set of friends
One of gold and one of diamond
Polished to a satin sheen
Beveled edges contain fire within

A New Dimension

Once you walk away and close that door
You'll never be able to go home again
Your world changes once that lock clicks
Walking fast never stopping to look back

A new dimension to your life begins
Childhood becomes a precious memory
You feel nostalgia for the small moments
Butterfly kisses and bedtime stories

You'll never be able to go home again
Stilted conversations in a home not yours
Longing to be wrapped in those strong arms
Those arms that once held you tight

A new dimension to your life begins
Carving out a new path to follow
Teaching yourself what life should be
Sorrows and joys are so lonely without you

Childhood becomes a precious memory
Choosing to remember things that were good
Weeping willow fortress and caramel apples
Summer twilight and low pitched laughing

Once you close that door and walk away
Your childhood life merely becomes memory
You can never go back to the life you had
A new dimension of your life begins

'tis My Wild Boy

'Tis my wild boy
A grand old age of two
Sunlight gleams in his smiles
Radiant blonde curls winking in the sun
Sturdy legs running ceaselessly
With a flash and a wink
My heart sings

'Tis my wild boy
Ever smiling in joy
Crooked grin and broken tooth
My heart a captured prisoner forevermore
Chubby hands are forever sticky
Painting jam pictures
My heart sings

'Tis my wild boy
A wonder of delight
Cuddles so happily with me
Mud puddle jumping has never been so fun
Clothes falling off at random
Bare bottom dancing
My heart sings
