Math Is

Math is
A love/hate relationship

We
Start off good
We
Hold hands
We
Make eyes
Pass love notes
Easy

We vow
Faithfulness
Promise
I will stay
This time

We
Argue
He
Betrays
I
Cheat
We
Try again
Make it
Work
For now

We never
Last
Math is
A one-night stand
A bad idea
An abuser

Need to
Quit math
Time to
Let go

Ocean Dreams

The roar of the ocean arouses me from sleep.
I blink my eyes open, squinting at the brightness of the new day.
I start to rise to my feet
And I can feel every grain of sand
That has found its way into every crevice of my body.
As I adjust my eyes to the light,
I take in my surroundings.
Though I have been here many times before,
I am still in awe at the beauty that surrounds me.
Ahead of me, miles and miles of sparkling blue ocean.
To either side of me, golden sand that seems to go on forever.
Behind me, the city of malibu rushes by,
Unable to stop and take in what they no longer see.
A smile comes to my lips at the thought of this,
As I rush into the water, white waves crashing all around me,
The cold hitting me like millions of needles coming at me in all directions.
I let the ocean take me in,
I love the feel of it tossing me all around,
Not knowing which way is up.
When I get back to the shore,
I lay back down and let the sun lull me back to sleep
While the sound of the ocean sings me a lullaby.

Needing

I’m curled up in your sheets
Drinking in your essence.
Wanting becomes needing, desperation,
For your touch between my thighs,
Your lips on my neck,
Fulfillment and ecstasy.
I need every inch of you,
Every piece of you,
Wrapped up in my heart.

Addiction

I think... no, I know
I've become addicted to you
And those gorgeous words you speak.
I can't help myself,
I have to sneak off and talk to you
Even when I know I shouldn't.
I'm addicted to the things you say,
The way you make me feel
And how my heart jumps every time I hear from you.
You are my drug, without even trying.
I take a shot of you in the morning,
Then the afternoon,
And at bed time.
You wake me up, and you help me sleep.
I am lost without you.

Unforgettable

It's been over a year now
And I still think of you
I still long for you
I still regret hurting you.
My heart still hurts at the thought of you.
You don't call me anymore
Not like you did before
And I wonder if you've forgotten about me
Already... or finally...
They say time takes the pain away
But I don't believe it
Because it's been so long
And I still hurt.
And I still love you.

Making Love

The feel of your hand
As you stroke my thigh
You make me feel faint
My heart starts to pulse
And I want to fall.

Your hand comes up
And you touch me
In that warm place.
I yearn for you.

I need you
To love me
‘Til the dawn

All night
Love me

Please.

A Night of Exploding Stars

Last night we layed together
Sweat between our bodies
Hearts beating rapidly
Stars exploding above us.
Did the earth move for you?
Thoughts flowed between us
Words hung in the balance
Questions lingering.
What's next for us?
Another night of exploding stars
More floating words.
The earth has shifted.

Neverending

Up there in the sky in the blue blue sky I fly up and up and up through the clouds past the stars.
To a neverending universe sinking slowly

Euphoria

I love the taste
Of your soft sweet kiss
So tender and warm.
Reminds me of flying,
A complete euphoria.
I love the thrill you give.
The way my heart beats
So quick and constant against my chest.
I adore the look in your eyes.
The one that turns me inside out.
The one that gives me a natural high.
You can't imagine how week in the knees I feel
When you touch me,
Even if just for a second.

I want to collapse in your arms and lay there
Until the world stops spinning
And it's just you and me on a cloud.

The Fall

Desire drips from your mouth, and dark shadows of distrust, resentment.
My heart screams a fiery orange flame
As weakness becomes me,
Passion drives me, and I plummet once more.
