Andrew Rose Poem
t's your turn to hide.
So I count to a thousand, then come to seek.
I call your name, but you do not speak.
I've searched ten years, searched everywhere.
But you are not here, and I'm not there.
I looked through my life,
And with some revision,
Looked at what I've done wrong,
All my bad decisions.
The decisions I made,
But mainly the ones that I didn't.
The lies I let out,
The truths I kept hidden.
Now here I am looking,
At my life and my phone.
You're there with him,
I'm here alone.
I long for your touch,
Which can tingle my spine.
I long for your smile,
Which says your still mine.
A serendipidous giggle,
An innocent faux pas.
Your flirtatious disposition,
Your je ne sais quoi.
But fate has a severity,
Which cannot be tamed.
And ours is a love,
Which we must not shame.
For you are so happy,
But I still make mistakes.
I'll carry on looking,
Do whatever it takes.
For you are my lifeline,
My joie de vivre.
So stay in your hiding place,
But please never leave.
I'll find you one days,
Our paths they must cross.
And what I will find,
Is all that I lost

Andrew Rose Poem
When I gave you my joy filled heart,
It was still intact.
A thousand pieces of hate and pain,
Are what you gave me back.
You lied to me, ignored my calls,
You'd gone to God knows where.
Then come back with "I Love you",
I'd pretend I didn't care.
You'd sweet talk me and win my smile,
One touch is all it takes,
I'd forget about the sorrows,
And all of your mistakes.
Then once again you'd be lost to me,
No reason, no tears, no kiss.
Your so blissfully ignorant,
Because ignorance is bliss.
Again I would forgive you,
But this time could not forget.
Although happy still to have you,
I'd rue the day we met.
I'd dry my tears with a veil of lies,
Hide hate behind my fear.
But all is well, it has to be,
Because you were still here.
Then you decided it was no more,
You didn't like what you had found.
But like a favored childhood toy,
You decided to keep me around.
Now I've got the time and space,
To look into the past,
I've seen some things, which at the time,
I seem to have looked past.
I hate how you treated me,
You told me we'd be forever.
You lied, so now please leave me to be,
I love you. I mean, whatever...

Andrew Rose Poem
Tell her that I'm sorry,
And I can never make it up.
Tell her that I love her,
I never meant to break it up.
I made mistakes, I'm sorry,
Youthful exuberance and stupidity.
I thought I'd make things better,
Thought you needed to be rid of me.
I tried to stay away,
But avoidance has escaped me.
I tried to come back,
But my conscience would not betray me.
Being back and saying I'm sorry,
All I can do to make it right.
Don't be so ****ing pathetic,
With your oh so pitiful shite.
You deserve so much better,
Than apologies I can spew.
Than the forgiveness I can bathe in,
While my heart is kneeling at a pew.
Begging for a moment,
In which the past does not exsist.
Where our smiles are true and honest,
And feelings cannot resist.
Your pushing blame to elsewhere,
When we both know where it lives.
You try so hard to ignore it,
When really enough is all you should give.
I promise to be yours forever,
Wether you want me to be or not.
I promise to keep on giving,
When I've given all that I've got.
I'd run two-thousands miles just to see you,
Twice as far if you'd give me your hand.
Round the Earth if you'd let me kiss you,
To the end of time if, beside me, you'd stand.
I'd give you forever for one minute,
Give my life to see you smile.
Eternal love is a wish I can grant you,
If you're willing to give me a while.
I'd love for my world to get better,
So that we weren't so far away.
I'm tired of waiting for tomorrow,
Cause tomorrow is never the day.
So we'll carry on being beings,
Being all that we can be.
Till the day that we are together,
And make 'us' out of you and me.
I'll still carry on being sorry,
But sorry just isn't enough.
I'll promise to make it all better,
I'll promise you much more than love.

Andrew Rose Poem
You've cost me more than money,
You've cost me dignity and pride.
The wish that I had not let go,
Of all I held inside.
All the pain that comes with love,
And all the hate that follows.
All the time I can only hope,
That yesterday is tomorrow.
So I can stop, and save my life,
From the treachery you bequeathed.
From all the broken promises,
And heartache I received.
For all the time that time stood still,
For all the time it didn't.
For wearing my heart upon my sleeve,
When I should have kept it hidden.
For tears crawl pedantically,
Down my mourning face.
But thoughts still fly round frantically,
Bringing with them bitter taste.
For it may be dead inside you,
But inside me burns a flame.
The winds of time will not blow out,
And anger will not tame.

Andrew Rose Poem
I'd take all your pain,
I'd love you the same,
I'd call out your name,
Forget all the shame,
If you'd still remain.
I'd hold you close,
Forget almost,
Regret no more,
Your mine, I'm yours.
We can be,
You and me,
They will see.
I've only,
One Love.
You.

Andrew Rose Poem
If I could steal one thing from you,
What would I take?
A lustful smile? A kiss?
Would that be a mistake?
Would I steal a moment,
Where we could just be?
Would I steal your heart,
Would you let me?
Would I steal the memories,
That hurt you so much?
Would I steal my reflection from your eyes,
Could I steal your touch?
Could I steal a giggle,
Of flirtatious disposition.
Could I steal some luck?
Cause I'm tired of this wishing.
Could I steal the look,
The one you used to give me?
The look on your face,
Every time you were with me?
But if push came to shove,
This answer I'd give you.
I'd steal back my heart,
It has no right to be with you.
