Hidden Side

Why do you tell me to let go of her,

When she is part of me,

When i can't even forget her..

Do you know that she calls out for me

Whenever the sky is dark and the moon doesn't shine,

every time the outside world scares her,

Each time she cannot say its all just OK n fine..

Then i am the only one who knows

about the way she feels from deep inside;

the hidden scars and sorrows

this feeling of being rejected and left aside..

Yet she keep smiling,

to the big cruel world,

she keep buried all her feelings,

and lets go of them only in concealed words...

Golden Afternoon

The pretty glow of the golden sun as it sets

is a sight to behold on this afternoon;

the sweet warmth of this sight

can be felt only once in the day...

Bright gold and orange pellets

of dust float in the soft sunlight

tracing invisible words

of what you want to say...

Like this is a wonderful time

filled with a magic of its own

Just like every time

the sun makes its way through fields & lawns....

A Sign of Hope..

Night slowly falls by

with a thousand stars in the sky...

It is dark and silent all around

and night slowly enfolds new bounds...

There's a swift breeze blowing;

It is slowly whispering....

That new dreams crop up,

That dark thoughts are buried up

There's still the hope for a new start

Keep that in your mind and heart...

Starry Night

Its dark everywhere

there's a wonderful silence

A perfect stillness..

This moment of peace is rare

In this busy world we live in,

Yet it can be found on such a night,

Under the radiance of the soft moon light,

In the twinkling stars

Who are so far,

Yet who shine down on us brightly

Who bring wonder to all those who are lonely...

The Unfinished Tale

She used to live in a dark cold world

Where no one ever bothered about her,

Unseen was the pain behind her words

Inside she longed so much to feel better...

Someone came to her someday..

He slowly brought to her many reasons

To laugh, to smile, to get up once again,

From all the confusions

And from all pain...

He was her closest friend, her confident..

One day came when they became more

Than good friends..

It was beautiful beyond all her dreams;

The safest place was their secret realm...

Days happily passed by

In the hope of soon being in her new sky...

She felt she also pleased him

Through her ways her words

She however did not know how to tell him

That he was the foundation of her world...

She woke up one day

To realize that he was strangely distant..

How she longed to say

That she missed her sweet heart, her confident..

Everything ended, all fell apart

When he said he no more loved her,

It broke her tiny heart

It killed some part of her...

She is now broken and wears a broken smile

But the love is still alive inside her;

He may be away by miles

But in her heart he'll be forever....
