Chris Mcreynolds Poem
From where I’ve been,
I knew only pain and loss.
I knew forgiveness and redemption.
I endured unimaginable sorrow and hurt.
From where I’ve been.
From where I’ve been,
The songs that filled the empty space in my heart,
Were songs of love and adoration for my Lord,
For He suffered tremendously more than I could ever have,
Yet He still loves me.
From where I’ve been.
From where I’ve been,
I know the remorse of separation,
The dejection of betrayal and the loss of trust,
But I know God’s love never left me,
For His song will always remain in my heart.
From where I’ve been.
