FREESTYLE..NO LIE.

Can't breathe, im missing you
Unbreakable my heart i thought was true
Put too much faith and all my love
In the dark waters I swam for you...
Drowning I almost, i almost died for you

So please forgive me if you must
The great offense i did to you
Under no malice from my heart you must trust
Promise you, promise I do
In caring arms I'm loving you
Don't let me go my sweetheart, because I'm always loving you...

A Faithful Friend

A Faithful Friend

 Rick Ramirez Barba

  April 2017

How can i thank
A most faithful friend
Whos by my side
Has always been

Who’s never judged
Nor left my side
Everyday together...
But left at night

This friend, whose name
I never knew
Who never spoke-
This friend was true

How can i thank
This true great friend
Whom my life has always followed
From beginning - till the end....

My dear true friend
Of whom i knew - so little
Uncovering his past
Was like an unsolvable riddle

I’ve tried and tried
With no avail
Remember how we met....
When? and where?

But then with time
When life got slower
A young man no more
But Much wise....and older

I knew that my true friend
Who forever stood by me
That when i died and went away
My true friend..again...I’d never see

My friend who never left my side
You too--- have a friend like me
Who goes away at night
And only in the day you’ll  see

How can i Thank you my true friend
Who has no name and most don’t know
That the friend I thank so much..
Is simply ...my shadow.....

Faith

Only tempest and decrepit,
Blackened and lost souls.
Covet and seek,
For something much more.

Never sway, never cede.
The blessed seek nothing more.
The Blessed are those-who with faith.
Who with FAITH fill their soul!

Llorona

Tis upon a moonless night
In the mist of unseen light
A childless mother laid in despair
Dressed in white... Satin wear
Torn and fondled was her hair...

She cried and cried
With no avail
Searched every night,
cried in despair

For her children,
That she lost
And cannot find,
She still cries in great despair

Rose

I wrote this one when i was in junior high...it went something like this.

I

Why should Give to you a rose
When it shall only, slowly dry and die
When the love i have for you
Is not a lie!

Lost Love

How can one be or changed to see
Everything you want, change ones belief
And all to praise the change you've made
Very faithless, selfish and so inhumane
Every soul that you have tried to change
Nothing wrong has done, but called our God...by a different name!

The Trees

Too much times had passed
 by me you'll see
In my rings, my age
My age you'll see
So much fruit I've given
Given to thee
And never, ever,
Have i asked - something for me.

I grow and grow
Tall as can be,
But never have i asked
What my fruit - can give to me
All I try to be, is a tall tree

Byt Remember me
When shade i gave
And gave my fruit
For you to eat

Don't cut me down
Me your old true tree
I give to you all my fruit
And hope to make you, so happy..
