Timely Introduction

strangers tend to ignore me
searching blindly for glory
tattered hands holding half a story
but surely; the opemists' plan
was escape these sinking sands
and not flash brands as
burning ticks cross my hands
the cost is lost in these lands
if this current path is off-track
then maybe i meant to lose the map.
sheltered from grace, the light
casting darkness to face
standing in place of lost taste
undoubtedly off-pace
fighting hyenas for space
wondering if life's just a craze?
while fighting minotaurs to amaze
my vision creates a stage
built softly by innnocent rage
time for quick choices; before the
people spit poetry with ripped voices
changing season for a snowdance
before walking like nomads in
ghostlands forgotten like most plans
