Why am I here in this place and what purpose to I serve?
In the end, everyone just wants to know what it all meant.
I’m no different than those around me that I observe.
I love my family and the time with them that I’ve spent.

We all have our place somewhere in society.
It took me years to figure out where I belong.
My life sometimes feels like a distant memory,
But I won’t give up, and I will try to stay strong.

I’m glad to be surrounded by people who love me
And I want them all to know that I feel the same way.
I want to thank, in particular, Charlie.
You put your life on hold to come up here and spend the day.

That one day turned into weeks, then months, and now a year,
And you’re working so much more than one should expect.
I may not say it, but I’m glad to have you near.
I’m very proud of you and you have my utmost respect.

To answer the question at the beginning of this thought,
I now know why I’m here and the purpose I serve.
It took me awhile to find the answer that I sought.
I’m here to teach you what I can, and then just observe.

Veterans Of Our Heart

Many Men and Women for generations have joined the Military to fight for freedom of all, 
Many have been injured physically and mentally never to be the same. 
There are many many Soldiers who have died for our freedom To Be free. 
Our Soldiers are still standing tall no matter how hard the task . 
They are there. 
They have never let us down . 
They are all heros in my eyes and my love for them will remain ever so strong. 
So Veterans never have any doubt that noone appreciate you for what you have given up to pertect us all. 
Heres to you all Thank you Thank you  Thank You 
For being there On this Veteran's day and all year round 
Love to you all

For all the sweet moments we've had together,
and many time our love seem to falter,
for many pains we've together borne,
and many gains that have accrued to our barns,
for standing by when the ground wanted to give way,
and the intensity of the sun seemed unbearable,
for those days I was a thorn in your soft flesh,
and you never chose to tear it away,
for thousands years ahead for us to dream,
and indulge in all our worldly treasure,

Mama please comfort me I'm your little child.
Please protect me from the dreams I have that are so wild.
Mama thanks for being there when I started first grade.
You were my comfort and stay and came to my aid.
Then there was middle school
You were always there, thanks for being so cool.
Jr. high came and went
without very much of a vent.
Then there was high school and college.
The period when I had ALL the knowledge.
A college grad. you were so proud.
I always could hear you bragging so loud.
Life has a way of passing by
And now mama you are the apple of my eye.
Although ageing you are beautiful still.
And day by day I know you are very real.
You need to spend more time with your little child.
And protect him from the dreams that are so real and wild.
And when you need me oh mama dear,

It sucks not knowing my dad, I think about him everyday.
But I wonder in my heart if he would have loved me anyway.

I wonder if he's out there, somwhere, just trying to find me.
Or is he sittin on his couch as happy as can be?

He's missed me growing up, and playing different sports.
He's never gotten the chance to take me shopping for shorts.

I wish I could see him, or at least give him a hug.
Or would he brush me off like I was an ugly bug?

Tears roll down my face, when I think of him.
But I also know my chances of finding him are slim.

In the end i'm grateful for at least knowing my mother.
She's always been here for me and thats why I love her.
