Singing each other's feat,
Trolling each other,

Viking Cruise
They read all about the Viking cruise
going for the first time they hadn't a clue
the addendum read
and actually said
no raiding allowed which means the fridge too!

Citylife
The brashness of crowds
Suffocates cool air at dusk
Raiding hurried urban tracks
No peace to behold
For invisible faces
Mocked by heaves of survival

Squirrels
Squirrels in trees
foraging for nuts.
Raiding bird feeders,
filling their huts.
Fat gray ones seen,
moving in struts.
Loudly chattering,
with twitching butts!

The Other Side
The Other Side
The day looms tall
Crushing the hopes
of every budding reed
with ruinous strikes
of harrowing memories
raiding the mind
See the broken rubbles
of shattered Dauntless desires
dancing with the blustering wind
bestowing bleakness
stirring endless expectations

When Angels Are Near
When angles are near
the birds make no noise
the chirps will stop,
when angles fly near
over head up above
the clouds and the eagles,
they calm the lions roars
they stop the wolves raiding,
with their wings of glory
and their glorious hymn
the dark falls away
and the light falls to knee
when Gods soldiers fly near....

Whowhenia
when I
a rock-chucking stick-slasher
patch-monger
was
there was a waterless
well
where we would await sprites and goblins in ambush
shoe-lace lariats
piles of rock for cannonade
this and all all the angels
at bay
for there is nothing gay grisly meaner than
restless
idleness
caked with efflorescing dandelions
raging raiding sun...

Urban Warfare
Urban Warfare
Knock Knock, tick tocks the clock,
post traumatic syndrome head trauma shock.
Glock Glock, click pop weapon stock,
three dimensional residential sniper kill shot on lock.
Hippity Hop, bee bop the music stops,
scattered brats panic attack, raiding cops.
Ding Dong, ping pong ball bounce bops,
sad sadistic, unrealistic, urban firearm goes pop, pop, pop!...

Babel
A thousand tongues cackle on,
championing divergent views;
then hatred comes, a tidal wave,
washing ashore total chaos.
A thousand voices bawl and brawl,
heeding not the other’s words;
each clings to its own beliefs,
and disdains all other ways.
Hatred sings, destruction sways,
still the tongues they shout loudly;
each proffers the remedy,
yet Babel strikes, raiding unchecked!...

The Rain
The rattles of the rain
Marching with rage
Like troops of soldiers
Raiding the land
The mountains
And the rivers
Rush to erode the loose betraying sand
Rushing to form splashing flowery waterfalls
Wash away dirt and dust
Carrying away heat and pressure
The rattles of the rain
A music from the heaven
Fill the universe with freshness and cleanliness
And your heart with
The melodies of life...

Yogi and Boo-Boo
Yogi bear loved to rob tourists of their lunch,
raiding picnic baskets for brunch.
Always on the lookout for the park ranger,
his antics grew even stranger.
Boo-Boo routinely got caught with pilfered snacks,
being Yogi's friend had drawbacks.
Tagging along on the promise of a treat,
he served the master of deceit.

Nest Raidable
...in a clouded sunset...
while sitting in the
...screened area of...
the sun-deck
...black wings flew by...
low and silent
...into the trees...
and immediately
...out flew a robin...
straight into a bush
...next to the deck...
as if seeking a hiding
...and safety spot being...
that the black wings
...were of a crow...
one of the many nest
...raiding species...
in difficult weather times
stans sand...

Autumn's Reign
Gingko’s golden leaves
Intermingling maple red
Glorious carpet
Strolling through autumn’s return
Mesmerized and delighted.
Chrysanthemum blooms
Vine maple dotting hillsides
Lingering roses
Color, color everywhere
Last call to outdoor dining
Pilfering raccoons
Raiding cornfields and orchards
Laughing at farmers
Indian summer picnicking
Last hurrah before winter

Wolfman
As the wolves continued to hunt in their pack
There was nothing that they would lack
They found a man who would join the nightly hunt
Raiding the forests in their nightly jaunts
No, fear did they seem to display
Hunting at night and sleeping by day
As each early morning sun would rose
He would find himself in a crouched up pose
It felt like he was living some strange, strange dream
For his clothes were dirty and ripped at the seams
for contest...

Oil and Water
You are always on my mind
Raiding my thoughts
Infiltrating my dreams
My constant source of happiness
The kerosene fuelling the fire to my anger
The highlight of my days
The darkness of my nights
Oh what a tangled web we’ve weaved
Trying to combine our differences
Compromising but not on our feelings
But we are oil and water
So you know we’ll never mix
But still
you are always on my mind
A continuous reminder that love still exist...

Our Era
We are a rising epidemic.
Crossed every single limit.
To the very top of the summit.
Then to hell we plummet.
In the slum the boxes are fading.
In the mansions the rich are raiding.
Don't leave it up to us.
To keep a promise.
Can someone define me.
A decent human being.
Because in these streets.
I've yet to find good feet.
Until the end of our time.
I hope we shall climb.
Strong hope for a settle line.
Instead of this sick decline....
