I pray for peace and I pray for joy
I pray for laughter in little boys
I pray for mama and papa two grandpa's
and grandma's and I pray for you
I pray for help to guide the way
on bended knees or as I lay
I pray for strength to be strong
I pray for help when I am wrong
I pray to God and heaven on high
I pray for sin both yours and mine
I pray for sorrow what is done and gone
I pray for tomorrow with a heart felt song
I pray for the sick the old and the young
just one more day to see the sun
I pray for the time to watch you grow
I pray for love when I grow old
but most I pray for wisdom
and to understand
that it's not my will
but yours amen.......
I pray for the people who suffer and mourn. I pray for the 9-11 victims who lives were torn. I pray for Kobe and the others who died. I also pray for the pilot who steered that ride. I pray for our nation who crumbles in fear and a pathway to heaven that they see clear. I pray for the homeless who struggle with money. I pray for the bees who lost their honey. I pray for our government to shed some light and saying to our faces that everything will be alright. I pray for no crimes and for more christians. I pray for the protestors that makes their own decisions. I pray for the coronavirus to vanish in the air. I pray for the sick because I do care. Of all these things I do, I pray for this dream to come true.
Do you pray, I do , every morning and through out the day,
I offer prayers of thanksgiving, for delivery from the dark,
I look on it as a confessional, without the middle man.
Each day I pray for the sick and also for those who are well,
For those who say God is fake, who then say go to hell!
Today I prayed for the words to say, should one come my way.
Then I opened my Bible reading , this is what it had to say.
Colossians 4:5-6
Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt,
That you may know how you ought to answer each one [WEB]
I thank God for this immediate response to my morning prayer.
He clinched it with the next line written by this bible teacher I follow.
"Seventy years may seem a long time to live on this earth."
This seemed to be outside of the reading until I realised that...
I am 70!
Consider how you will and may God go with you always,

Upon the second story balcony
Around an old mosaic table top
Sits Sarah alone with her thoughts
Bright blues, yellows, greens and reds
Sparkle with splendor in the first rays of morn
Igniting endless inspiration
The morning dew glistens upon the open field
Another new day is here
Will I find my true love today
Is he really out there
Will I find my true love today
Will he ever appear
Will I find my true love today
That is the least of my fears
With a simple silver cross dangling
From her delicate olive-toned fingers
She raises her misty eyes skyward and prays
She prays for the sick, the needy, those suffering
And gives thanks for all the gifts bestowed her
The warm sun, the mysterious moon, and the stars above
The fauna, the floral and even her little girls smile
Trust she says, for there is a plan
Even flightless birds sing a happy tune
For beauty is not what we have but
In the little things we see, feel, and cherish
Will she find her true love today
In spirit she already has
Into tomorrow’s light
I will
Remember the beauty that
The lord took out time to
Create
And I will
Send up a prayer for the sick
In need of your touch
I do pray
You touch the eyes of those
Who is having trouble
Seeing all the beauty you create
For your sheep
“My Dear Lord”
Take your hand’s just wipe away
The tears
From the grief of sorrow laden
Heart’s tonight
Lord, just erased the weary hearts
That all lay in solitude
Last but “least my Lord”
Feed the hungry babies
They lay awake with empty
Stomach’s
I think I will just say “Thank
You Lord”
That Is all I ask of you
I Love you Lord
I’m your child please just
Rise your hand’s
And wipe away all this strife
Of this world
Amen, Amen
if i die before the day
heal the hurt that i have laid
on fragile flesh and innocent minds
that by chance became my shade
if i sleep eternal nights
save a prayer for the sick
sheltered in the poison ivy
by my hands now in contempt
