Fakin' My Way To the Top

I'm fakin my way to the top
All smiles and a joyous voice
Fake "Good morning sunshines" 
Fake laugter, fake bright eyes, fake happy-go-lucky attitude
F.A.K.E!  F.A.K.E!  F.A.K.E!!
All FAKE!!!!!

I'm fakin my way to the top
listenin' to my music, quiet
enraged, annoyed, lugubrious
full of ready-to-tell-lies when asked whats wrong
"Just tired. Got a lot on my mind" spoken in a high spirited voice 
trying to sound convincing
but its ALL FREAKIN' F.A.K.E!!! 

I'm fakin my way to the top
walkin down old memory lane
tears pouring down my eyes... hitting my shirt like bullets
fear rushing through my entire body
I wanna crawl into a hole and rot 
I wanna scream in pain
But I'm fakin my way to the top
Gotta hold my composure
Smoke my cigarette, cut my wrist, and hope to die
