“Getting by” sounds really easy,
Though, of course, some folks just don’t,
Attitude that’s cool and breezy,
One who’s surfing with the flow!
Though you could be facing cancer,
Gliding off a hanging rhyme,
May survive although you still won’t
See death coming, ever know
That this day is not your end game,
That you’ve not run out of time.
Might this be your kind of answer?
Wasting talent seems like shame!
Briar patch could mean salvation
Do you dream of getting there?
Where’s your fear and desperation?
Careful what you wish for twit!
“Flying high” can mean you’re outed
“Under radar” means you’re blind.
Even if you’re wild as “marsh hare”
No restraints? A risky bit!
Plan less life is always bad choice,
Thinking though means using mind.
Camouflage the virtue touted,
You may never find your voice.
