In Response To My First Poem - Knotty Sendoff

MY LOST ROMEO

You're my only love
And I call you my love
You are my Romeo
And my inamorato

I feel so captivated
To be loved by you
All I ever wanted
Was to be with you

And finally will you marry me
You asked me
Yes I will marry you
And live my lifetime with you

I gave you wholly
I loved you unconditionally
I gave you totally
I loved you solely

Everything happened so fast
Present turned into past
It was not meant to last
It just needed to past

You became cold it was rust not gold
Beautiful memoirs turned spoiled as mold
Not even our friendship was saved
You just turned your back and faded

Tears left falling
Never heard my heart's aching
Leaving without talking
Your heart's not beating

Into the bliss fading
Into the dark not worth remembering
Goodbye to you my Romeo
And my inamorato

"IN RESPONSE TO MY FIRST POEM"

Till we meet again
I said to ease the pain
To someone who turned his back
Who shall never come back

Pain can last
But time should pass
This feeling must end
But up to what extent

Till we meet again
When will I see you again
My Heart aches deeply
My Heart breaks softly

Gone are the days
Of the coffee for two
Will surely miss those days
At the cinema too

The smiles on your face
The sweet words from your lips
Like the sun that rises
As crisp as your kisses

Till we meet again
see you again
I will wait for that day
As long as the sun has its ray

Obviously

Mary Moorman took a Polaroid snap of
John Kennedy at the exact moment he
received his fatal head wound. Her
picture has fuelled many conspiracy
theories.

I’m inclined to opine
(it’s a passion of mine –
to conclusions you’ll think me
a jumper)
that assassins abound,
widely scattered around,
and they’re thicker than bugs
on a bumper!

In this photo alone
sniper gunmen unknown,
and it only takes looking
to nail ‘em.
(Boy, if I’d been around
when those witches were found,
they’d a made me the mayor
of Salem!)

Take that guy on the stairs
who’s been snapped unawares
(you would see, if we had him
in slo-mo):
he’s a pal of Rosselli,
‘cos I’ve seen him on telly,
and I’m outing him now – Perry Como!

And the perp on the plinth
with the sleazebag named Cynth –
he’s a Russian, with codename
“Zapruder”.
Wait – she’s “Marilyn”, yes?
Geez, why didn’t I guess?
Then he obviously must be …
Ry Cooder!

Between Badge Man and Ry
there’s a big hairy guy,
who is clearly preparing
to shoot.
Why can’t anyone see?
Ngo Dinh Diem, obviously –
he’s disguised in a chimpanzee suit!

Where the pergola ends –
it screams out at you, friends –
near where Cynth and Zapruder
are grappling,
waits a killer from Cuba
with poison-dart tuba,
dressed up as a sycamore sapling.

I’m alerting the Pope
to conspiracy dope
that’s contained in this
Polaroid snap –
What? The sapling is lush?
It’s a Texas-type bush?
Why’d you give me that
paranoid crap?

A Klingon Lullaby of Love

A Klingon Lullaby Of Love
(In English and Klingon)

Come to me my little Klingon turtle dove
Drive your poisoned knife into my enemy
Feed me their hearts while they die bleeding
Still pumping life under the old volcanic fight
Eruptions laid with lust, lava flowing over us
Molten rocks forged in fevered red in heaven
Thrust your jagged teeth in me
Rip my back with pleasure
Dig with claws and howls to hell and back
Under the exploding Praxi moon of doom
Planet Kronos still orbits on but damaged
Shattered but ready for battle to the death
To fight in war is our birthright
To die with you by my side an honor
Let us scream together for a while
A Klingon lullaby of love
Psychotic savage passion is never wise
When we rise to the occasion of a smile

No Heroes

There are no heroes
Just people ,gods and the devil
There are no heroes
David couldn’t resist peeping
Moses couldn’t stop running
And Obama really did start ISIS
He got a nobel for peace
There are no heroes
Just choices, decisions and errors
There are no heroes
Batman benefits from the status quo
The equivalent of many NGO,s
Their business is helping the poor
How can poverty be evil
It provides the opportunity to help
Jesus Christ lost faith
God became an atheist
Eli Eli Lama Sabachthani
Lazarus had to die a second time
And Gandhi really did hate black people
There are no heroes
Just People, opportunities and chances
There no heroes
Solomon really loved the soft life
Jacob was a thief and a cheat
The whole of the Old Testament
Is justified Genocide
History is mostly stories of people dying
And My father broke my heart
There are no heroes
There are no saints
Just people
Just people doing their best
And good branding doing the rest
So don’t Judge lest history judges you
Don’t proclaim you are good
The other side cannot agree
Do your best
It is all there is to do
Always do it with love
That is how you know its good
Unless you are Hitler
Unless you are Leopold
Or Herod
Or Stalin
Or Mao
Or Karen
Or Ken
Or any human being distressed, obsessed, possessed
By The religion of their state, their tribes and their race
There are really no heroes
Just people, gods and the devil

Inxeba

Ngikhala kwaduma imihosha.
Ngikhala zoma,kepha izinyembezi zeminyaka.
Ungangibona ngihleka,ufunge ukuthi konke kulungile.
Kanti cha akunjalo,ngizama ukuzelapha.
Noma ngazi ukuthi ayizelaphi kepha ngisuke ngizama izaba nje.
Uma ungibona ngimile egcekeni ngibuka,ngasesangweni.
Ngisuke ngicabanga lezo nsuku ezandlulayo.
Lapho engangimbona,engena emamatheka umtakababa.
Qede sibingelelane kube mnadi.
Kwashabalala,konke njengamazola ebona ilanga.
Konke lokhu kuyawulimaza umphefumulo wami.
Ngibuka into engekho, ngibuka into engeke isenzeka.
Lokhu usengu mufi usekokhokho.

Inxeba, ngike ngithule ngibuka abazali bami ngidabuke.
Lokhu ngiyazi kubo kubuhlung ngokuphindiwe.
Ngisho ngoba nami,Nazi ezami izingane.
Uma ngizibheka kufika usizi qede zehle kancane.
Kungenzeka yini nakimi njengakubazali bami?
Ngisakhala namanje ngomfowethu ngohlala ngikhala.
Ngikhala njengomfelokazi ekhumbule umyeni wakhe .
Noma ngizama ukwendlulisa, kepha imicabango iziyela yona lapho ethanda khona.
Into ebuhlungu mangikhumbula umnewethu kuvele kuvuke usizi.

Inxeba enginalo alipholi.
Kunalokhu liyabhibha usuku nosuku.ngenza yeminjunju yenkumbulo.
Kuyoba nini ngo phela ngaphakathi?
Ngiqoma ukufa kwangempela.
Kunokufa ngibe ngidla anhlavana.

Touch

how dismal
how depressed
how dejected
who are they?
so human like yet so unlike
are they real?
their shabby dirty hair
tattered clothes
for mercy they stare
they need us and our care
muddy unkempt faces
resemblance to humans is in traces
we need to be fair
if possible their sorrows we must share
their state is bare
they need our healing touch
need us to clutch
roofless and have hardly any clothes to wear
women and girls with little to gear
long has been the sultry condition
no NGO has such a generous mission
awaiting nothing
but mercy lets do something
their poverty makes a petition
were they born just for addition
why were they born?
to be jealous of the blessed
to look lusciously at the well dressed
to be left homeless and forlorn
arise to empathize
make them come close to human size
I do my little bit, I collect n give my spare belongings
Clothes ,utensils n groceries ,things they were longing.
