Can Not Stop

Sun down to sun up
I can not stop thinking of you
I lie awake half the night
And I wish for you I would fight

Harvesting this pain like a crop
Growing so much it might pop

Deep in thought I quickly grew
And all along deep down I knew

You were all I wanted
But you, I couldn't grasp
I wanted us to last

We swiftly moved on
The days move along

Sun down to sun up
I can not stop thinking of you
I lie awake half the night
And I wish for you I would fight

You don't see what I see in you
You are so beautiful it is true

You have everything I want
But you sit around and taunt

You laugh and talk
But are unaware
Of how without you can not bare

But you are drifting out of my sight
And because of it
I am losing what was left of my might

Sun down to sun up
I can not stop thinking of you
I lie awake half the night
And I wish for you I would fight

The day you completely leave my life
You will never know of my strife

I thrived off your beauty
I longed to see your smile
But all the while
You do not see
How amazing you are to me

But poems scare girls these days
If I showed this to you, you'd be amazed
You'd think me weird
And forever to you I'll be feared

Sun down to sun up
I can not stop thinking of you
I lie awake half the night
And I wish for you I would fight

I know not what to do
Because I am slowly losing you
And these thoughts of you keep growing
Without you even knowing
And I can not stop

I Don'T Want To Wish For Yesterday

I am so tired of convincing myself
that tomorrow, the sun will shine
I wake up and see it so differently
The clouds just covering the sun
these clouds covering my heart

I am so tired of saying you'll come back
that tomorrow, you will come
I fall asleep and dream of it
The clouds parting from my fears
Parting from my heart, so I can feel

I am so tired of wishing for senseless things
Maybe tomorrow I won't be wishing
Maybe I'll wake up and there you will be
Your green eyes shining in the sun
Your smile making me shine bright

I am so tired of counting everything
from yesterday, and beyond that
Falling into your arms and coming right back
The rain washing our fears away
The rain, background music to our life

I want to be awake and never miss a thing
I don't want to wish for yesterday
Because sleeping is easier when I don't
The sun will shine everyday
With or without you by my side

Bac(K)

The warm wind of your breath
swarms the top of my head
My hair wrapped in your
fingertips, grasping softly
The smell of your welcoming envy
My knees are going weak
to the sound of your chest
The sun is shining down upon us
If we could only hold onto
this moment forever...

Butterflies are forming
My skin is cold and rising
A paradise island with the
warm sun so inviting to
the comfort of your own home
The truth tastes so good
Your lips melting in my mouth
Thinking in my mind...
Persuasive words

A voice that trembles
in the back of my mind
Holding onto the railing
Jumping from the bridge
A cool current of silk covering my body
My eyes stinging, full of wet
The shore, warm to my feet
A cool breeze trailing through me
A piece of paradise...

And could you believe,
this is how you make me feel?

Manna Mania Miscelanea - Part 2

... King Arthur had an enchanted sword,
do you, will it fell me?
come, let's ready ourselves
for embrace of the duel,
the nearest mirror recasts the
glittering joy of swords in our eyes...
... our eyes are the swords...

* * *

... I felt your breath
in the edgy delight of its
lemon flavor dancing on my teeth
and not waiting for the sun to leave
I sought a tavern at noon,
'what will you have?'
the shaman barkeep asked,
my finger traveled across the space,
and 'I'll have a draft of that spirit,' I replied,
he paused, smiled, I suddenly realized I wasn't drinking alone
in the breeze through the door,
you and I
commingling lip-red wine,
plunging, bathing, not leaving
until the sun again at high noon...
... and still I feel your breath
while spinning, foolish
and lemon-anointed, on the
edge of dancing teeth...

The Lake Stars

I've included my prose for this entry, it started as a haiku, but i converted it to a
haibun

THE (lake) STARS

the spring sun has started thawing the frozen countryside. I spend the afternoon
gliding
across a sheet of glass on lengthy points. silence banished by joyous bellows as the
ice
is scarred and chipped. time slides by while smiles are shared and glossy eyes come
in
line. Doom lingers in the rays warming more than the frigid lake. fingers meet. hearts
skip beat. the sweeping off of feet. unnoticed. the moon chases the sun from the
sky. the
population dwindles to two. me and you. the evening breeze chills the landscape.
we look
into the mirror below us and see that we are standing in the heavens.

frozen reflections
capturing infinity
starry sky on ice

As the Sun Sets

as the sun sets in tha sky
and tha birds all sing their
heavenly angle lullabys
heads lay to rest for tha night
but it always seems i put up a fight
sleep never comes easily
thinking of all tha possibilitys
will u go or will you stay
dont wanna take it day by day

heads pounding
heart beats faster
salt covered tears
streaming down my oh so sad face
tha way u speak and
hold me close
thats why i cry over you tha most
never in my life ive felt
tha love im hidding under my belt

those three words i want to hear so bad
say them back
and be so glad
ur wonderful smile
your reasuring eyes
makes my heart beat faster
for quite a while

so as tha sun sets
and tha birds sing
ill still be here,
thinking of u
and wiping my tears

Fragile Porcelain Dream

All of this doesn’t make a sense:
You and me, our love romance.
Even sun wants to run away
Behind the cloud…
I’m not trying to have a fight
To find out who is wrong, who’s right.
I’m so tired and I don’t want
To cry out loud.

Refrain:
Somewhere in clouds
There is a Porcelain Dream
And we are in it “Yes” and “No”.
We are divided
Only by little extreme,
Flying in heaven through the snow.

There were two a few years ago…
Blue sky cried if you tried to go.
We were dreaming to fly away
Up to the sky…
You were the captain of our plane,
I was your stewardess through sun and rain.
Two young pretenders who used to think
That they could fly…

Tat Dancing

A sprig of flowers danced the dawn
Tip toed merrily across the lawn
The delicate ankle softly trips
As the dew her ethereal sips

Around her feet the birds did sing
From her smile the sun did bring
April showers and tippling rainbows
From her eyes the suggestion grows

Colours burst and blossoms fall
The gentle whisper of natures call
In the orchard we sat and whiled
Both at peace and dreams beguiled

And as the sun sets
In orange and red rivulets
The suns fall is the moons call
Stars are bright as moonbeams fall

While she skips and dances beams
I hold my heart, collate my dreams
Of a sprig of flowers forever mine
Of setting suns and dawns divine

Sonnet

I saw my lady by a cool, fresh stream,
Among green branches where gay ladies stand;
Since that first hour when felt I love's hot brand
I never saw her face more lovely gleam.
This sight fulfilled in part my fondest dream
And o'er my soul put reason in command;
But when I left my heart stayed in her hand,
And fears and grief the greater so did seem.
When now the sun bends downward to the west,
And leaves the earth in shadow and in night,
Then sun my own is hidden from its ray,
For setting suns more sadness bring at best.
But though too little lasts the world's best light
My memory stays and does not fade away.
