Love Aligns

Love Aligns

Of names given at birth, one blooms special.
Mary seems to me a popular name.
Common folks and royalty likewise called.
But no two named Mary are quite the same.

A young girl named Mary lived righteously.
By God she was favored, is history.
She willingly bore God's begotten son.
Obscure to man…virgin birth mystery.

Infant queen, Mary of Scotland, betrothed,
Had escaped Henry the Viii rough wooing.
Life's whirlwinds, deaths and romance havocked her life.
Politics sent beheading ensuing.

Mary Read of Devon County, England
Surrounded by death, raised as a boy.
Captured by pirates of the Caribbean Sea,
Became a pirate herself, lived wild joy.

Mother and Daughter, writers named Mary,
Mary Wollstonecraft, swayed by T. Paine, wrote
"A Vindication of the Rights of Woman," (1792)
The thoughts of a mother, by death made remote.

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, sweet sixteen,
Strong spirited, influenced by her mom
Left home to be Percy's mistress…outcast.
Sorrows in life are Frankenstein's where-from.

Mary Anning, a woman paleontologist,
Prepared fossils from Jurassic era beds.
Well-known by geologists, financially poor,
Put new ideas in scientific thinkers heads.

Famous women named Mary nowadays abound.
From Mary Anne on Gilligan's Island
To Mary Poppins flying through the air.
Each Mary, in her own way has some life brightened.

All of the women I have presented herein.
Have one thing in common: strength and chagrin.
But, there is not one Mary I read about or met.
Whose loves like my grandmother's was fashioned.

She, was a woman of strength, strong will, and *****.
But, tenderly, she comforted many a tear.
Teaching young children from her sewing machine,
She consistently worked to keep family near.

She offered fresh fruit from the family tree.
I know her sweetness from Heaven shines.
Without her love, I wonder where I would be.
When I hear the name Mary, love aligns.

Moments Await--Opening Pearly Gates

These are the End-Times
As moments await..
Soon.. Pearly Gates Open up wide
God's Divine Glorious Pure Love inside

Come Now.. Tis Not to late
Come to Jesus.. Divine Christ
Obtain Eternal Life
Only through God's Begotten Son
Shall then.. be.. Born-again
Into Family of One.. Christ's Family
Tis ever be..
Moments await..
Opening Pearly Gates
          ~Eternity~

Don't delay...
Everlasting Love awaits
Soon.. tis for Us all..
Whomsoever.. Is Born-again
Pearly gates shall open
Then time be
With Our Lord
              ~Eternity~

If you have not come to Christ
Asking Him to be Lord of Your Life
What are You waiting For???

Time is Now... Love is Knocking at Your door..
These are the End-Times
Soon This too.. Shall pass
But God's Divine Love.. Eternity
Eternal Life.. Love Forever Lasts

Let's Come together in Prayer
Ask Jesus within Your heart..
So Soon we all shall meet the Lord in the air
Now tis time.. to make up you mind
Jesus Loves YOU.. as we do too..
Come be Saved.. Today is the day..
Open Your heart.. Become apart
Within God's Family Tree.. be Born'again
Then when time comes
Forever then shall be.. All in Eternity

Soon be.. Opening Pearly Gates
               ~Eternity~
As Moments await...
Hope and Pray to see You there
Soon shall be.. Pearly Gates Opened
                   ~Eternity~

Four Little Words

The buzzing wakes me,
The intercom.
It's the family.
We take off her coat,
Her little scarf and mitts.
She climbs in beside me.
Snuggling
Cold cheeks,
Little blocks of ice
Against my body ,toasty warm.

Shall we play?
Out comes Big Ted,
And the favourite book.
I read.
Big Ted looks on.
We sing twinkle twinkle,
Big Ted dances.
We sing again, Big Ted claps.
We take a bow
And we laugh.
I read again
From the favourite book.

Two pairs of eyes
Sit entranced.
One, brought into reality
By the imagination of a child
The other pair locked into
A world of fantasy.
Warm, safe,
Wrapped in the arms
Of family love.

We sing again.
Big Ted is tired.
I am tired,
The family see.
It's time to go.
We put on her coat,
Her little scarf and mitts.
Little arms hug tight,
Baby soft lips plant
A wet kiss on my cheeks.
And so her warmth leaves
With a wave of the hand.

I feel a familiar chill
Of emptiness descend
Upon me.
Then a new sound.
It carries through the letterbox,
Ascends the stairs
And reaches right
Into my heart.
Just four little words.

I love you Nanny.
