The Gangham Crisis

because the music industry is
dead as a ****ing doornail,
they grip hold as long as possible
to whatever pop singer can pull
in the most idiots to sell whatever
can be marketed by these big useless
companies that used to feed us CD’s
& have a monopoly on the recording
process,
until
we discovered
how to do it on our
****ing
own---
and so we have
“psy,”
the male version of
gaga, after she got fat,
the male version of britney,
before she shaved her head,
the male version of
the next latest craze that seems to
be taking longer to
evaporate than most,
because, well,
nothing
else
is
happening---
so when it was revealed recently
that mr. park jae-sang
had “anti-american lyrics”
professing a hatred for us
“yanks” & shouting for the deaths of
all our kin
because of the war on Iraq
being committed then by our wonderful
big military dick, which goes pounding all
over the world,
it came as a shock to every dimwit,
who after like 3 ****ing months,
is still trying to mimic the man’s Korean,
in hopes of one day becoming
cool---
because of the manufactured dance song,
which has been played by youtubers
non-stop, for what seems like
ever,
the world has cringed, wondering if they
can continue to worship
a pop singer,
who has sung
one
song
that
has
got
their
attention
when
the
rest
of
music
is
dead &
it’s moral fiber is being questioned &
ooh, how it makes everyone tremble---
should they agree with him & hate the
empire that made him huge
by pushing his pop trash all over the
place, or should they denounce him &
embrace the killing machine that was
responsible for the death of
kim sun-il, the South Korean who lost
his head because he was a representative of
a country that is like a little toddler brother
to the US, who was obligated to send
troops in, so that the brilliant war effort could
go on raging?

keep your eyes peeled on your screens &
watch the US music industry mop up all the negative
vibes, so that mr. psy can be painted pretty
again---watch him perform for president hope &
change & watch everybody refuse to develop any
different view of the
good ol’ US of A---
for politics is for the thinkers & certainly not the pop
listeners,
right?

Kara Jo

Kara Jo

Kara Joy is what we named her
Not so very long ago,
But as long as I remember
I’ve called her Kara Jo

Now you could say the acorn
Didn’t fall far from the tree,
Cause what you get with Kara Jo
Is a pretty, female, “me”

We share a love for reading
And movies, good or bad,
And she can spin a story
Again, just like her dad

No, we’re not carbon copies
One look will tell you that,
Because she’s young and beautiful
I’m getting old and fat

She has her way of doing things
And doing things her way,
And if she thinks that way is right
She’s kind of hard to sway

Much like her aging father
It seems to be the case,
“If everyone were more like us
It would be a better place”

She’d follow me when she was small
Trailing close behind,
But one dark day, life got real hard,
And we lost so much time

We went from daily interaction
To every now and then,
And if I’ve known a greater pain
I couldn’t tell you when

Sometimes I’d text her in the night
To say she made me proud,
In those times of darkened silence
That were deafeningly loud

She got her scars and bruises
Most I knew not of,
But in my ignorance and absence
I did my best to show my love

We both walked down some rugged roads
That led us from the Lord,
But in the end she set the standard
For me to strive toward

She left her pain and turned to God
I stayed beneath its cloud,
Sometimes at night she’d send me texts
To say I made her proud

By faith she did amazing things
I remember to this day
She prayed for a stranger’s broken-down car
He got in and drove away

I’ve watched her take some hard life blows
And still do the best she can,
Unaware that she inspires me
To be a better man

I turned my blessings into curses
And struggled through each day,
She turned a “curse” into a blessing
And named her Rylie Jae

She’s watched me through my failures
And saw me when I’d fall,
And she always tried in her own way
To help me through it all

“Pure Delight” is what her name means
And it has proven so
But until the day I’m no longer here
I’ll call her Kara Jo

Sad Heart of a Dying Piano

(A saddened heart of a dying....Piano)

You remind me so much,
Of your grandmother...child,
You have her eyes,
She too...was beautiful,
Just like You!

Yes...I remember them days well,
As though it was yesterday,
We spent so much time together,
Before she passed away,

I loved her so much,
They were...good times,
We laughed together so much
She...fell off her stool,

Memories memories
Thats all I have now,
She haunts me...still,
I will never forget her,

We were so happy together,
Always fooling around,
Making music
We worked well together,
Sounded great,

She was my song,
I was her key board,
The way she run her fingers
Through my keys,
I knew...she played
Solely...for me,

We were inseparable,
Sometimes she stayed
With me all night,
Falling asleep in my Arms,
I kissed her gently,

She never knew...how much
I really loved her,
I was just happy to have her,
And feel her emotions,
Our times...were special,

She came to me
When she was happy
She came to me
When she was sad,
Sometimes in anger,
I never minded
She was mine,

Her fingers run through my heart
Like a love affair of music,
Her tears would fall on my...keys,
If only she knew
She was the only girl for me,

She's in heaven now,
I know...
One day...we will meet again,
Until then
I stand...not so grand,

Not long now...
I'm fading quickly
Body decaying,
Every bit of song...gone
There is no tune left
In these old bones,

Don't look at me child
Leave me alone
I want to die.
She's waiting.
I have to go,

The Title's Called Love

Their story had been written,
The book to be read,
Engagement announced,
In marriage he said,
Kneeling to the floor,
This chapter and more
Dance with me darling
This verse to the floor,
Come my darling,
Champagne I shall pour,
Their love came together,
With times to explore,
The bride was ready,
Treasures in her drawer,
Engagements and plans,
Banns read out,
Their love was so special,
No one could doubt,
The day had arisen,
Her beauty adorned,
Invitations written,
Announcements sworn,
Excitement and nerves
She stands at the door,
The limo is coming.
Flowers from the store,
The bridegroom awaits,
Church bells applaud,
The trail of her dress,
She walks down the aisle,
A glance from the crowd,
She gives them a smile,
He looked at his love,
She came to his side,
With happiness and joy,
Looked at his bride,
Took hold of her hand,
Blessings bestowed,
Placed on her finger,
A ring of pure gold,
Read out their vows.
To have and to hold,
From this day forth
Forevermore.
Confetti was poured.
The bride took a glance,
She held back her tears
The congregation looked,
With spontaneous cheers,
Everything was ready,
Cake in three tiers,
Bells sounded out,
To their bow bell ears,
Bridesmaids in waiting,
Bouquet to be claimed,
The horses were drawn
Speeches were made,
Music played,
They danced on the stage.
True love had been made,
The ending was told.
He stood there so bold,
His wife, their life
The story told.
Love had surrendered
The book remembered.

On the Wild Side

(On the wild side)

Tenderly...he held her fragile body,
In his big grizzly...arms,
Very scary!

Yes but...not today...
This is my story...lol

Something miraculous
Is going to happen,

Instead of wanting to eat her,
This big bad bear...turns soft,

No it's true!!!!
A freak of nature,
Don't know why,
Can only say...
This is truly an amazing story,
Keep reading...

A ferocious animal,
All of a sudden,
Has compassion,
On the beautiful young girl,

He had a change of heart,
For what ever reason,
Nobody knew why!
I do...but I'm not telling!

His basic instinct...
Should have been to kill,
Instead...picked up her dying body,
And carried it to safety,

He must have sensed,
Something unique about her,
Something more powerful than himself,
Something kind and gentle,
Something pure and innocent,

Sure she was pretty,
But been pretty...
Doesn't always save you,

She had something more
He knew she was special,
He had never felt like that before,

It was more than just love
She had tamed his wild nature,
He'd looked deep into her soul
And it touched his heart,

He took her to the edge...
The village cheeky!

People with guns,
Wanting to shoot him dead,
They didn't understand...
Of course,
They'd already made up their minds,

So he laid her on the ground
Took one last lingering look...
Then hurried away,

Did the bear fall in love.
What do you think!!!!!!!!!!

Late For Work

Late for work

Another foggy damp...cold day,
It would be like this...wouldn't it,
When I'm late for work,
Washed my hair this morning as well,
Had to put tons of hair spray on,
To keep it in place,
Thicken my mascara up,
It's probly running down my face by now,
I'm going to look a proper mess when I get to work,
Feel like I've been
Through an hedge backwards,
It's not funny...
Plus...sweating with rushing,
Don't really like walking...
Through lonely parks on my own,
But was rushing this morning...
What else could I do,
Didn't think...at the time,
But now I'm here...and looking around,
It's...a bit scary...so I'll up my pace,
There's no other people about...
I'm the only daft one...out here!
The trees are a bit creaky
An owl...hooting,
Making me jump,
Oh god let me walk a bit faster,
I'm getting scared,
I can hear foot steps...behind,
No...don't be silly it's just your imagination,
But walk quicker any way,
Heart...pounding...
What am I going to do,
If theirs someone following me,
How could I protect my self,
Still...a long way to go,
Hit them with my umbrella...thought!
I don't have anything else,
Sounds like a twig breaking
There is someone....out there,
Quicker....quicker
Dam...these high heels,
Almost...running now,
Why did I come through the park.

Did she...get to work......
What...do you think.....
