For All the Good Man Out There

A handsome and well groomed man he is
Usually very neat with well combed hair
A middle aged man of relative height
Wearing a warm smile that demands a response
Of wearing a scent I know not.

He is one of the few good men remaining in the world
‘How do I know? And how sure are you that he is good?”, you ask,
When you spend time with him that’s when you will realize
What a treasure he is, what a gentleman he is.
Lucky is she that found and keeps this treasure near her bosom.

Principled is just an understatement and for lack of a better word I will use it
A man of good character, integrity and honesty
Quick to make amends and reconcile for a wrong turn made
Thoughtful and considerate of other people feelings
A listener who will listens to you whether you make sense or not

Many have tried to ensnare and catch him
But he is ever so careful and wary of such people
Dismissing such kind politely and as humanly as possible
Able to keep confidential information as it is supposed to be
Treating all persons with dignity.

He is an early riser and a diligent work
Working till late into the night
For his family to be comfortable
To give what he may or may not have received
To lead a better fulfilling life.

Integrity and faithfulness are his core values
This has kept him going almost quite literally
He knows the importance of these virtues firsthand
He do not entertain unfaithful people
Those without integrity he abhors.

“This is too good to be true”, you say
But am yet to get to know about his weaknesses
I can only say what I have seen and heard
I know no one is perfect and he is no exception
Am yet to find his imperfections though.

He may or may not have hidden his imperfections
Or maybe they are hard to come by
Could be there was no situation to bring them out
That I was able to witness
And that is one of the reasons why it is an ongoing observation on my part
To really understand and get to know the person

Confidence

Confidence is fearless, but may be feared.

Confidence is seen, yet invisible it's something you can hear.

Confidence is not one's a gender, you may need to be aggressive, yet tender.

Confidence is found within not just giving to her or him.

Confidence is needed have it,it's not that tough.

Confidence will have you stand up when times are rough.

Confidence will be the key to your success.

Confidence will be your state-of-mind not your dress.

Confidence will have you trying new things put your mind and body to the
test,standing out
from the rest.

Confidence will brighten up your smile it's contagious share it,it will be worth the while
and carried from mile to mile.

Confidence is essential you carry hope, faith, future potential.

Confidence will give you a boost when your down or untrue.

Confidence it is you being you at your best, feeling confident, feeling
impressed, intelligent, respect,an adjective you want to describe yourself;you can judge by
my speech and appearance this word also means caring,i do not mind sharing.

So be confident in who you are and your dreams and goals do not seem so far,and be
appreciative to things you have and know your worth,Take nothing Less, but all the more
these things we deserve to strive for.

So do not be frightened and hide behind closed doors peek out and let your confidence
shine from within and i promise things seem easier from here on in.

If this is what you need, but do not have it read over and over make this your habit, boil
it up,do not let it splatter, take care of yourself and keep climbing your ladder, reaching
the top overcoming obstacles,disappointments,and disasters.

Confidences that's what you should be after filled with a lifetime of happiness and
laughter.

True Poetry In Motion?

I began to tell of the two pens (my couplet) I always carry tucked away in my shirt
pocket, and of my humble closet which contains nary a pocketless shirt.

My thoughts drifted to what by.. and how I am inspired, when my love and I began speaking
of a subject very dear to me.

When we finished .... in what I believe to be an infused prayer,...perhaps inspiration to
some,... I saw what seemed to be liquid glass like droplets ..falling slowly from above ..
as a slow motion shower into an atmosphere of what may have been, space and time. I saw
no earth or sky.

These liquid glass droplets were falling without disruption through a pellucid barely
recognizable outline of a figure that I perceived to be a poet.

Somewhere from within I asked why the poet could not be lined somehow with a shell to
capture these apparently valuable liquid glass treasures. They were so clear that the
atmosphere through which they were falling, appeared as a gloom gray.

I understood that these treasures cannot be contained or retained. They must fall
through the poet who must also be like these liquid luculent treasures in order that these
particular gifts may come through the poet ..continuing to transform same and all others who
allow these treasures to permeate them.
There is no clearer description within me to give. ...

And then... I was no longer free and came back into the pain,
discomfort and seemingly bloated entity
within this shell.. that I call me.

I Believe In Myself

I believe in myself

Written By Dean Masciarelli

November 28, 2010 (7:25am)

I believe in myself enough to know
that, all
of my dreams, can become a reality.

But I am not Robert Frost,
nor am I
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow,
or even William Butler Yeats.

And I may never be,
as
talented, as they can be.

Because they were truly,
some of
the worlds, greatest poets.

And I accept that,
with respect, and
honor and dignity.

But I will aspire to be,
the best poet,
that I can possibly be.

For I am just one of many,

That will do what ever it takes,
to
reach the highest mountain tops.

And I will continue to dream upon
a dream, and I will set my goals higher,
so that I may touch the stars some day

Because I believe that the
impossible can be achieved
when it comes
to, the desires of our hearts

And if and when my life comes to
its fateful end, which it will some
day,
I will gladly step aside gracefully,
with a smile on my face, because I
did strive to be,
the best poet that I could possibly be

Because I believed enough in myself.
to know that,
all of my dreams, can become a reality.

( I think that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s words permeate through my mind from one of
his poems that he had written when he said ”Let us, then, be up and doing ,With a heart
for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing, Learn to labor and to wait” )

Self Confidence Will Allow Us

Self confidence will allow us

Written By Dean Masciarelli

Wednesday, March 3, 2010

Self confidence will allow us

To conquer our fears

And our limitations

So that we no longer have
to be
a victim of our own failures

Because we can climb above
and over all the hurdles
that are standing in front of us

And we can change our
failures and turn them
into accomplishments

Just by changing
our attitudes

And that’s just half the battle

The rest is fairly simple

Because each and everyone of us
are blessed with
our own unique gifts and talents

We just need to learn
how to bring
them to the surface

So that we may continue
to hold our heads up high

No matter what we may face

Because this will give us
the opportunity
to believe in ourselves

So that we may acquire
the inner
strength that is within us

And the self confidence

To conquer and defeat
our failures
and our own weaknesses

And the obstacles that we face
and the I cant do this attitudes
that lie underneath the surface

Because we are all
programed for success

Self confidence will allow us

To conquer our fears

And our limitations

So that we no longer have
to be
a victim of our own failures

They and Me

I know not what is this bittersweet
feel as I am trodden by the feet...
...Oh, so dark!...of lonliness
crushed by its smirking ruthlessness.
Battered and bruised by the emotional pain,
enmeshed in a web of tears and pain.
'??',you may quire, and all I can say
you have No idea, how miserable are THEY.
They are wanting to advance stepping on shoulders,
their way should be clear- others, all boulders.
And so empty vessels never a chuckle suppress-
they can only loudly mock and depress.
And THEY define lonely, how sad is love lorn
Lives should be hooded in night, forget morn!
Ah! They only know to blur twinkling eyes,
for they only know how to turn laughter to cries.
They only know how joy is sucked out from souls,
they only know how to leave a heart full of holes.
But I know I´ll come out, I know I´ll be free-
today they may laugh, one day they´ll praise me!
And then my incessant caterwauling
will take the much awaited swing...
and THAT moment I´ll rejoice, as pure ecstasy
I know its not too far....I´ll reach....its easy.
So its best to let the bacchanalias bawl,
´cause with the stones they throw, its a BRIDGE, not a wall!

Discovery

Inspiration is like:

A virtual hotwire to a higher power
"it" could be a cloudless day
a summers rain shower
or a soaring bridge over the tossing bay

like: climbing all in one leap
the tower of observation
to look out or in, to jump out or creep
up on the object of ones consideration

a path in to the source
out through the door or,
on through the verdant course
to where the spirit can soar

to overlook the teeming world below
to interconnect, introspect, NOT to subject
to capture a moment within the flow
not to object, or prospect to reject

to discover a dimly percieved coorelation
as it passes on some mental stream
or survives the fragmentation
of a dream

to flee eagerly the confines
through a passage to a hidden core
to overcome "their" defines
to become gratefully, so much more

Listen...to hear only what you wish, is unwise
listening for what's expected may cause dismay
truth is sometimes obscured, or in disguiise
but not really hidden, only unbidden, in some casual way

Discovering may only require:

  the desire.

And In Conclusion

And in conclusion,
All who attend,
Shall infringe upon terriority
And situations,
With undulations of meaning and indifference.
And in conclusion,
Said person, the self,
Of concious, may preserve chivalry,
And decency in forms of conduct, private and public.
May your emotions stay true of the heart,
May your journey through your life, be of substance, whether wise or magical, or always a
battle,
Good always battles, for soul, for reason, for right, and of wrong, in conclusion,
Perfect never painted a picture,
Never gave guidance through a storm, never emptied furious waters, and never lived in
human form.
So speak heart, yes heart speak,
Of love, for friends, family, and a mate.
Speak heart! Sure! True! With resolve, with all you are, tell and shed me, Speak to her, the
deepest blood flow, she produces,
Pounds of longing, and yes speak to of love, encourage, inspire, lift up and hold close.
And in conclusion,
We live, how we live, in such poetic times, and may we be blessed with good friends and a
lover, of nuture and prosperity.

Cuddley as a teddy bear with beautiful silky hair

                                             Handsome and fair

                                       Eyes shinning ever so bright

Like an angel in the night

A wonderful gift you have recieved

                                        The best ever I believe

                                            Your baby boy

May he grow big and healthy

                                            all of his life

                                        You are his guiding light

Cherish your little gift from God
