Alison Alligator eating artichokes on a ant hill,
     watching
Beverly Bear floating on a cloud over there,
     which developed a leak,
     drenching
     Charlotte the twin headed elephant
     up to their knees,
     floating
     Danny the dingo swimming past.
     While watching,
      Eli the iguana,
     slithering over a leaf
     sharing a log,
with Francis the frog looking over,
as Gwenda the goose flew overhead
     into the gum tree,
     where,
Helen the hermit had laid down her head,
     on
     Ivy the twinning snake,
     who was always late,
     slithered up the tree,
     to give
     Jay the monkey,
     who was feeling funky,
     a fright.
     she dropped a nut on,
     Karen the kite,
who was in flight one starry night.
As Lil the parrot continued to trill,
     while
Marsha the mammoth grew quite still,
to much noise was making her ill,
     gave her the shakes
     and
Nosey Nancy the ant came up out of her mound
to see what was shaking the ground all around.
Olive the ostrich bent all her knees,
standing straight was making her sneeze!
     Then
Penelope the porcupine trotted on by
     to keep an appointment with
      Quirky the quill,
she was the queen of everything,
      she was quite mean.
     pushing
     Ruth the rambling rabbit into,
Silly sue who was a sea lion and lived in Sillyville,
     and lived there still.
     Alongside
     Terrible Tonya the Tonga tiger,
     who danced with,
Uncelet Uris who came from the north,
because of to many Tonga dancers rolling tires back abd forth.
Violet the vampire bat flew down to show
Wilson Lucille the very large whale,
how to stay out of jail.
she had a tendency you see,
     to hang out with
     Xantus, the hummingbird,
who lived on a yacht with a
     Yak Zack ,
and stole yogurt by the lot.
Finally to tired to tired to chat anymore,
Alison, Beverly, Charlotte, Danny, Eli, Francis, Gwenda, Helen, Ivy, Jay,
Karen, Lil, Marsha, Nancy, Olive, Penelope, Quirky, Ruth, Sue, Tonya, Uris, Violet, Wilson Lucille, Xantus, and Yak Zak
     fell asleep on the floor.

The Scars On Your Arms

I found you in my peripheral the other day
Thought I had scrubbed you out, but i was wrong
And I hear that I'm off your radar but I can't believe that
Or I won't believe that

Cause you were like a drug dealer
Dealing listening ears and crying shoulders
Dealing blood and tears and sly winks
But you never shoot your own junk
Just made sure we were all buying

And now I still can't drive by 12th and D
Without trying to remember
Who got cuffed to the porch rail
Cause they were getting outta hand
Or that night you pointed your claw at me
And marked me for your own

You'd always tell me that I knew why
I knew the reason didn't I
Abd I was too scared to tell you no
No, sorry, man, I didn't know
Still don't

But I still can't drive past Java Jazz
Or where it used it be
Without seeing you rock out to The Sickness for the thousandth time

When everybody else got clean of you, I was the one who still had the shakes
It took six people to talk me down
Open my eyes
It took bolt cutters to sever those strings

And now I'm standing by myself, bleeding into this wine glass for no real reason
Guess I'll put on a band aid and start walking
Might as well put down the blades and start walking
That's all I've ever known how to do
Just sew it up and move on

But I think you know why I still can't walk the railroad tracks without casting glances to my back
To see if you're still there

You're not
But you knew that

Maybe we'll see face to face again sine day,
But we'll sure never bleed vein to vein again someday
And I think you know why

And maybe someday I'll walk down 14th without looking up to the balcony reminding myself that time-turners aren't real

I guess I still hold on because I know that when I finally let it go, it'll be gone

And all the time I spent working my way to your right hand will have been a waste

but even if I can't abide the vampiric twinkle in your eye I know that somehow I'm still under your skin
In your veins

I know that our book is still open like a wound
Like the scars on your arm
And before I slap on the band aid and walk away I guess I just need to say
That I'll never walk down the railroad tracks again without tossing a glance over my shoulder

Wishing you were still there

Learn

Strong exercise of your brain take,
The stronger money you can make,
Weak exercise cause money to shake.

Proper physical exercise increase your health,
Proper mental exercise increqse your wealth,
Laziness decrease both health and wealth.

True learning fear usually dissapear,
Passion abd burning desire appear,
Low learning cause of fear.

What it feels working for money?
Multiply your last month by fifty,
You will get what you occupy.

Month of people have price,
Because of human emotion in twice,
Are fear and greeds can advice.

Emotion stands for energy in motion,
Be truthful about your emotion,
In favour use mind and emotion.

Observe and not react your emotion,
Because your emotion are your emotion,
You have to learn your emotion.

Avoid trap of desire and fear,
School uneducate handle money and fear,
I can't make it clear.

Ignorance intensified usually desire and fear,
Brial patch are greed and fear,
Thats why rich have money fear.

Life is between ignorance and illumination,
It needs money searching of information,
You should contribute to be profession.

Solving problems by choosing your thoughtness,
They play part of your weakness,
You will have alot of neediness.

If you can comprehend the simplicity,
Your life will be financially easy,
Simple that why idea are busy.

Adults don't understand Asset and liability,
Thats cause them to be silly,
To be rich become very difficulty.

Month adults escaped idea of simplicity,
Because they have being educated differently,
They don't use Asset but liability.

Wealth ocuq on the word of literacy,
And not the financial literacy,
To be confused react in dictionary.

Train accountancy but in average person,
As well be written in mandarin,
Words in definition but difficulty comprehension.

Money makes obvious tragic human flaw,
Spotlight on what they don't know,
Money only accentuates the cash-flow.

Run into couple all the time,
They change their names all time,
Their financial dilemma is the same.

The battle is waged whenever,
Laws are make in wherever,
 Battle will go on forever.

Uniforms usually get up everyday,
Work and loose taxes pay,
Rich play games in that way.

Eulogy

Eulogies are beautiful things in the way that many counterfeit things can be beautiful; in the way that deception so expertly executed can be so breathtakingly perfect; in the way that a fist sized cubic zirconia shines so brilliantly under artificial light to an uneducated eye. When it comes to death, people lie. We polish people. We inflate them to be great pillars of the community, concrete in their indelible mark on society because it is universally accepted that an ugly truth, with regard to both life and death, is more regrettable than a well intentioned lie. But I say don't paint over me. Let me be the sandpaper rag that no matter how hard I try, I cant make anything shine. Let my eulogy say:
*she hated celery, jazz and bandaids; didn't understand truffles, caviar and the Beatles; she abhorred people but loved "It's Raining Men," potatoes and dogs.
*she ate her words as easily as she ate her feelings
*she was at her worst most of the time, but she tried. She COULD be kind. She COULD be good, but she was not a kind person or a good person.
*she had a chip on her shoulder that would make Atlas start sweating and it frequently got heavy abd rubbed her raw. She coated the wound in a womb of sarcasm and anger to ease the pain.
*the inside of her head was like a white chapel brothel and her heart was the dark basement that was terrifying until you went in and turned on the light.
*she was a bipolar addict warrior chasing oblivion with a butterfly net with a hole in it.
*she wore everyone she ever loved around her neck.
*she loved deeply but never learned how to say it.
*she had religion but not faith. She was a rock thrown through a stained glass window, landing on her knees in front of Jesus whisperinf "im sorry" as she picked glass from her palms.
*she was ill.....not sick.
*she wasnt pretty. She wasnt sweet. She thought most of the world was garbage, but she gave money to homless people and cried at spca commercials. That has to be enough.

Don't paint over me. Let me go.

Premium Member Health and safety

1980 we began to learn ( about health and safety)
Not at every turn.'
As the decades went, its demands just grew.' From
Those quite acceptable, no one realised the end extent
Mind you.'
There was always, some charge; and info gathered?
Sheets of triplicate paper in bleather!
Still it was all for the good of everyone! So you buckled
Down and got stuff done.'
And if you didn't it was understood.! You could be a bad
Human..You really could??
Then 2020 there was a scare.' Victims were falling in China
Just about everywhere'
People in 'white boiler suits' sprayed mysterious chemicals
Could these be bought?
Yet no info on what the substances could be
Turned out as soap and water.!!
Which was almost free.' The media stalked hospital
Wards grim and extolling
This untoward, and most debilitating thing soon
Doc's were on t v' to moan and wring.' Hands and
The last ounce of will, from the trusting (herds?) That word was ( the trigger one)
Does this all seem absurd? Next you must lock yourselfs away, don't be fools? or worse, bad humans.?
You should 'just'follow some rules,) meanwhile real herio's would be
On an anti-dose, working while skne nurses on tik tok' were 'twerking?'
This wonder 'drug ciuld be years away?' Maybe a decade.!! We'll
Be locked away.??
And yet thanks to this 'fast paced situation' after just eight weeks into 2021
There was a (great sensation) the boffins had pulled of a coup.'
Thats something made up..In a word ir two.'
This was straight 'from dark winter' an old exersize a thing by milatary
In the U S! Wow What a surprise.?
There is a colonel, i think James Bush, he got unwilling..When it came
To the push.!
The rest is history (of which we're part) and a side-lined reality, i ask
All reading will you do your part??

Love Forever

As I lay here because my brain don't know what to do.
I think about all the love I have i still haven't shown you.
It makes things interesting and exciting as time goes by and make our love strive.
Abd to think of different ways to keep our relationship alive.
We tell each other we love you every day.
Even sometimes in the goofiest way.
We hold each other close as to never let go.
In my time with you true love does show.
Some days won't be perfect, and some will.
Some days we can stay busy and others we can just chill.
But either way our hearts continue to beat strong.
For one another, even if some may think its wrong.
But we love no matter what and cherish the moments we've already had.
And we will continue to build so many more and I am so glad.
You entered my life and we never thought this would be.
Neither of us, together was there a future we did see.
But we talked and got to know one another.
I didn't have a child, you did and I was okay with being a stepmother.
Our taste in music, our goals and dreams.
They were one in one, it's a miracle it seems.
We learned we can be our true self and act crazy without judgment.
Becoming a stepmother has been an adjustment.
But I wouldn't change it for the world.
You both will always be my girls.
We talked out the possibilities and what we want in a relationship.
When I found you, you had future goals, it was like I won a championship.
I'm so glad to be able to call you mine.
I'll yell it from the roof top in a rhyme.
Baby I love you with all my heart.
That won't change you'll always be my counterpart.

Reverberations

Like a piece of ground where bombs go off repeatedly,
my inner landscape is perpetually marked
by these explosions of sorrow,
made all the worse
by the lack of a listening ear,
a warm open heart
or an outstrerched hand.

I have constructed a map
but it's incomplete,by its nature;
so even now,I might stumble into an old hole
or a new one,created
by reverberations underground;
the noise like distant music,
a constant drumbeat.

We do not dance
I might call it the Liturgy of Loss,
a dance to the music of rhyme;
Patterns abd shapes hold the feelings
and express them. The shape of these forms
is a container for the grief.

In this way,I indicate
that life will go on;I hear the healing music
and sing to its melodies
like a mermaid on the edge of the sea in winter
when the water is cold and green like his eyes,
and the rocks are hard like large fists.

Nature can be a s ymbol for such emotion
we cannot walk without a tear in ech eye
and a softening of our hearts
as tenderly we touch the world
and are touched in turn by each other.

Stretch out your hand to meet mine.
We can hold each other better
than each can hold theirself.
Like in sex, the meaning is not the climax
but the giving and being given;
receiving and being received.
The sacredness of the erotic needs no explanation
to a gardener or a fisherman
but may need it for the information saturated, postmodern
who dwell in the fascist virtual reality
we call life on earth today

The Pinnacle in the Sky

I feel like a child in an adult skin,
Living with dreams from the beginning
One era has come abd gone leaving
Hope stranded on the lawn, yet I have
Not had a taste of life despite the
Painful sacrifice and when the wind blows
I look for somewhere else to go but the
Avenue in front of me is gothic in nature
With castle lining both sides and the
Pinnacle mounting in the sky
And windows and doors made up
Of fine architecture and lining that
Open the path that leads to my destiny
It is fortified in stained wood
And lined with emeralds that no one
Understand but the fleeting moment fades
Away and my soul finds a place to stay.
Give me a minute more to view the wonders
Of the world before I walk out the door
The splendor of the night with the moon and the stars
Gliding with its light and the sun spreading its
Warmth all over the place and whispers jest before
Dawn cause the heavens to break and heart surrender
To the galaxy and the heaven and the earth become one.
Oh if there was a song that I could,
but my heart has lost
The music is playing in the air and
My song is singing everywhere,
And it has cause the multitude to fear
The whole world has joined in the rhythm
An at last my spirit starts to sing, take to
The pinnacle in the sky and honor my soul
 Before I grow old.

Premium Member Andromeda-W

I used to teach A for Andromeda, a play
As back as in late sixties.
I desire to buy the star Andromeda
Of the Andromeda galaxy
From the cosmologist Fred Hoyle.
Let she be my ruling star
For my sweetie Charmer Iris.

Oh fair biological built Andromeda
Of short childhood and immortal youth
Quite Ignorant of all feelings
To teach you love they touched you softly
To teach you pain they pinched you.
My heavenly passions have flown
Yours is the blushing hours

I invoke you to rise early
And delay your departure.
Shine where my charmer Iris breathe
Shine on her flowers-scented path
Where gentle air winnows
Her silken tresses darkly flow.
And fall upon her brow so fair
Shine on Iris when she is here
And guide this pilgrim to her.

Contest: Shining Star
=============================

I taught A for Andromeda, a one-act play in late sixties.I have imagined Andromeda a star in
the galaxy of the same name for my Charmer Iris. I am inspired right by the title Shining
star.
The Milky Way's nearest neighbor in space is the spiral galaxy, Andromeda. It was first seen
by the naked eye in 964 by a Persian astronomer, Abd Al-Rahman Al Sufi, who believed it to
be a small cloud. It was first seen by a telescope in 1612 by Simon Marius.
