Two kittens, different, but born of the same mother
White one named Snow; Coal was called the black other
Snow, so proud of her milky white fur
Growled at dark Coal with an angry purr
Admiring herself all day long in the mirror
Snow called her sister “God’s worst error”
She lost her way in the storm that evening
Returned home at dawn- wet, hungry and shivering
Ran to the mirror but bolted from the horrifying sight
Her coat was all black and muddy with no trace of white
Delirious and griefstricken, she was a pathetic scene
Coal ran to help, consoling and licking her sister clean
Moral: Don’t be proud of your physical beauty and don’t hate others for lack thereof
