Steak and Wine

we are eating the
speed in the lim-
b of a graser
the clotted blood
fear of the bulging
eyes, of the rib raw
very rare tender loins
blowing coals of an
open fire grilled
fermented purple grapes
in the black valleys
of summer ignit-
ing the thirst
we become animals now
by the side of the co-
zy bed in pure da-
y light
